I placed an on-line cigarette order through dutyfreebilling.com's fraudulent "front" site called "Airportcigarettes.com" back on October 13, 2009 for 10 carton's of Camel Non-Filter cigarette's totaling $250.00. They claimed that it would take between 12 - 21 business days to reach me and that they would be coming via USPS Registered Mail.
Well needless to say they never arrived and I therefore contact dutyfreebilling.com and they immediately offered to do a "reshipment" to me stating that the reshipment would be arriving between 12/07/09 and 01/05/10. And yes you guessed it, they too never came.
So I requested that they issue me a refund and they agreed and notified me on 01/14/10 that the refund was issued to me and would be issued by a company called "Inter Marketing Enterprises" back to my checking account with which I initially used to pay for the order. But I no longer bank with that bank and informed them of such. The supervisor that I had spoken with was named "Tracey" and she said she would at first request that their billing dept instead issue to me a refund check in the mail.
I just got off the phone with dutyfreebilling.com after of course they several times pretended that they couldn't hear me or that they just kept hanging up on me. Finally I got this man that apologized then stated to me: "Why after all this time since October 13, 2009 are you requesting a refund?" Duhhh... maybe because you never shipped the product to me. HELLO!!!
Tracey at last came on the line and fed me the line that it would take between 12 to 21 business days to actually get the check in the us mail. WOW I really takes that long for the mail to come to California from the United Kingdom?
And by the way the man that I was speaking with first actually told me that because they were an international company that they could not be sued.
And here's the clincher...dutyfreebillings web-site motto is: "It's All about The Customer!" Yeah Right!!!
