No merchandise received!
I ordered the set of JUDGING AMY and ROUTE 66 from DVD Donkey on Jan. 4 2008. Money, $166.77 was immediately deducted from my credit card. They sent several e mails saying that the merchandise was backordered, and if I wanted to cancel and get a refund I could. No chance. The button doesn't work, the phones have been disconnected or the mailbox is full on the other number. I have told them BY 'LIVE CHAT' (no answer back) that I will report them for fraud. Thank God my credit card will dispute the charges, and I haven't lost any money. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS, AND IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED, TURN THEM IN!!

Pirated DVDs, charged for full order and never received the rest of DVD's ordered!
I ordered 2 DVD sets from DVD Donkey on Dec 5, 2007. After about 2 months I finally did receive one set which was Carol Burnett show. These were copied from TV Land marithon weekend and sold as the real deal. Very poor quality and they show that it is copied from the TV Land network. I also had ordered the Laverne & Shirley DVD set in which I was charged 88.99 plus 28.79 shipping. I never received this set and never received a credit. Now DVD Donkey will not answer emails and their phone is not working.

Online scam!
I placed an order with DVD Donkey for a set of DVD's (Married with Children) as a Christmas Present for my Husband. Now nearly 10 weeks have passed and no DVD's. At first they advised that my order had been placed on back order. Then they tell me they have processed a refund. After checking with my bank this is not the case. Email address's no longer work and the only way I have been able to contact them is via the website contact link where you fill in a form. First they told me my refund had been processed and when I called them on that they said the goods are still on back order. Also a response I got came from TV Addicts.
I then found this website with complaints against both DVD Donkey and TV Addicts as scammers.
There must be something we can do to stop more people from being ripped off.

Fake dvds and non delivery
I ordered from this company Christmas presents in early November 2007 , 2 boxed sets of The Chronicles of Young Indiana Jones
1 set arrived 24th of December , after viewing dvd's found them to be fakes. these discs were ripped of tv and the quality is un-viewable. After frequent emails they will not communicate anymore, send replacements ( which they promised ) or refund my money, which they also promised.

never received
What a crummy company.
My son was looking forward to the Complete Wonder Years Series DVD set so I ordered it for Christmas.
Never received it. I kept hearing it was backordered and my Visa would not be charged until it shipped.
Well guess what... it was charged immediately and I've never received the DVDs.
After repeated emails and calls I was continually told it was backordered.
Finally, In January, I went online to cancel my order and though I've been told my Credit card would be reimbursed, it has not been done.
The owners of this company should be ashamed. They should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
It is sad because now I have a kid without his gift.

None received
I ordered a set of dvd's over 3 months ago, have tried to contact dvd donkey on several occasions and have received neither dvds or even an answer to messages left. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE A COMPLETE FRAUD AND SHOULD BE DEALT WITH BY AUTHORITIES. It makes me so angry that anyone can advertise and make huge claims, but not be made to adhere to them. Amazing how the money can be taken out so efficiently, but no other action can go according to plan. STAY AWAY FROM THEM OR YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF TOO! The DVD's were ordered for my mum who was going in to hospital and needed cheering up - she has since recovered, but I would have loved to give her this one simple gift that I knew she would have really enjoyed.

No merchandise/got $ from me
The same thing has happened to me. Unfortunately I did not see this website before I ordered a Christmas gift for my husband. I paid for tv series dvd set and no merchandise, phone is disconnected and no replies to my emails. I am contacting the Federal Trade Commission and my Credit Card Company concerning this.

Money paid - no product received!
On December 4th I ordered the complete series "Providence" on DVD from DVD Donkey. On December 5th my credit card was billed the entire amount by a company called DVDSHOP. As of yet, I have not received my product and keep getting emails saying my credit card has NOT been charged and the product is backordered. I have a feeling I will never see my product.

i ordered dvds from this so called business and im not the only person who has had impossiblities with dealing with them so all iask is how on earth do they have a web address if they are a company that keeps on doing this to innocent people and not just one address they seem to have lots of names under the same banner

Scam and non delivery!
On January 21st I placed an order for 100+ episodes of the Carol Burnett show thru DVD Donkey.com WHICH has now changed their name. They sent an email saying i would receive shipping confirmation email 12-48 hrs later... never received it, i emailed them twice, left 2 voice messages... NOTHING.., then COINCIDENTALLY, my credit card company calls me 1/28/08 w/ fraudulent charges on my account which had to be canceled... NEVER EVER heard from DVDDonkey by email or phone... I believe its DVDAvenue or something like that now. I should have known, it was the only place I found on the ENTIRE web to have all episodes for sale... NO MORE ordering for me from unknown sites, only ones that I am familiar with.
