returns and money
I ordered a DVD box set on accident. I had been getting ready to order and filled out the info and someone else need to use the computer so I let them. I made a call and then decieded I would wait before ordering and look around a bit more. When I got back on the computer somehow the product had been ordered. I contacted the company via email immdiately and asked them to cancel the order. It took 2 days but they said they could not find record of my order. I said that is fine as long as I don't receive the product and do not get charges. 2 weeks later I received a package. When I opened it, it was the DVD's. I contacted the company and said that I wanted to return it and be reimbursed. They said that was fine. I also called my credit card company which said that I would have to get a return receipt when I shipped it out. When I brought it to the post office they said that they couldn't do that for over seas packages. When I called my credit card company they said to try UPS. I had also contacted the company twice asking for them to send a shipping label and they said they do not do that. They said if I put the charge on my credit card that they would reimburse that also when they gave the money back to the product. It ended up costing me 157 dollars to ship it back and the product cost 130. Luckily the credit card company can reverse the charge for the product. The company is not responding to the UPS company trying to deliver it now. So it is looking like I'm still gonna be out the money for shipping which is more than the original item cost me.
