We went online on 8/15/07, and found what we thought was the perfect site for our tv show collection: dvdigniter.com. On 8/22/07, we received the 1st of the 3 shows we ordered. When we put it in our machine, the quality was the worst we'd eve seen. Looking closer at the DVDs, we discovered that they were bootleg - someone had recorded them off television, then recorded them on DVDr's and sold them over the internet. We also noticed that the company's insert said DVDAvenue.TV instead of dvdigniter. We immediately called to see about a refund on that purchase, & to see if we could cancel the other 2 purchases. We were told that we would receive via mail a label to return the merchandise so they would be paying the postage instead of us. If we wanted to cancel the other 2 orders, we'd have to call back with the order numbers. I have since called their phone number repeatedly, only to be put on hold for the next available representative, the 10 minutes later be told that there was no available representative to speak with me & to please call back. I was also offered the choice of leaving a voice message, but their equipment continually malfunctioned. I have also sent them repeated e-mails at their [email protected] site. As you can guess, no response. We have since recieved the 2nd of our 3 orders, but nothing to return the 1st, nor our 3rd order. And get this: the second show even show the little logo at the bottom right hand corner of the screen from the channel they recorded it from. So, now what do we do? Plz advise smb!
