Have bough a box set from this website.It's cost nearly one month and the quality is so poor.It's a gift for my best friend.I am so angry why they sent a pirated box set to me.

PURCHASED FAMILY GUY 1-7 & MY NAME IS EARL 1-4, THROUGH PAYPAL.
AFTER WAITING 2 WEEKS FOR THEM TO ARRIVE, I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH PAYPAL (ITEM NOT DELIVERED).
THE NEXT DAY D.S.S SHIPPED THEM, AND SENT THE TRACKING INFO TO PAYPAL & ME, CLAIMING THEY HAD BEEN SHIPPED DAYS BEFORE (EVEN THOUGH THE TRACKING INFO STATED OTHERWISE).
NEEDLESS TO SAY, WHEN THEY ARRIVED, THEY WERE OBVIOUS COUNTERFEIT COPIES (THE POST ABOUT THE NBC LOGO AND THE EPISODES CUTTING BACK 30 SECONDS LATE FROM COMMERCIAL BREAKS SOUNDS VERY FAMILIAR).
I NOTIFIED PAYPAL IMMEDIATELY, ASSUMING THAT THIS WAS EARTH-SHATTERING NEWS TO THEM. I WAS WRONG. NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION TO HOLD THE FUNDS IN THE SCAMMER'S ACCOUNT AND REFUND ME POST-HASTE, OR ASK ME TO SEND THEM THE COUNTERFEIT DVD SETS.
INSTEAD, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY DO NOT COVER SUCH THINGS, AND SINCE THE SCAMMERS HAD A SIGNATURE TO PROVE THAT THE SET HAD ARRIVED, THERE WAS NOTHING FURTHER THEY WERE OBLIGATED TO DO. THEY SUGGESTED THAT I TRY TO SORT IT OUT WITH THE JERK-OFFS DIRECTLY.
CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, BUT IF PAYPAL HAS BEEN MADE AWARE EVEN ONCE THAT ONE OF THEIR BUSINESS ACCOUNT HOLDERS IS SELLING PIRATE OR COUNTERFEIT MERCHANDISE USING THEIR RESOURCES, AND THIS CAN BE VERIFIED EASILY (I WOULD HAVE SENT THEM MY CRAP AS EVIDENCE IF IT MEANT SHUTTING THESE BASTARDS DOWN), ARE THEY NOT BOUND BY FEDERAL (usa) LAW TO CLOSE SAID ACCOUNT(S) AND NOTIFY THE AUTHORITIES??? DOES THEIR FAILURE TO ACT NOT MAKE THEM ACCOMPLICES TO THE CRIME(S)???
I WOULD LOVE IT IF I COULD HAVE AN ANSWER TO MY MUSINGS...I'M OUT $120.00, AND THEY TRIED TO GET ME TO SEND THE DVD'S BACK FOR A REFUND (WHICH WOULD HAVE PUT ME OUT ANOTHER $45.00), BUT I DID NOT TRUST THAT I WOULD GET A REFUND, THEY SEEMED PRETTY DESPERATE TO GET THE EVIDENCE OF THEIR CRIMES BACK IN THEIR HANDS. GOOD THING I DIDN'T SEND IT BACK!! MY CONDOLENCES TO THE PERSON WHO SENT THE CRAP BACK AND GOT NOTHING IN RETURN BUT MORE STRESS AND GREIF.

I placed an order on 11/27/09 for one tree hill series box set, and ghost whisperer series box set. The customer service number listed on the website is for florida. However, when you actually call the number it is out of service. They also have a live chat that is available on their website. When you get a representative on the chat, every question that you ask them they avoid answering. I was asking for my tracking number but the person on the live chat kept avoiding my question, and kept telling me "your item was shipped and will arrive safe and sound". They also tell me to give them 2-3 days to get that information for me but it has been over a week and still they refuse to give me that information. I have come to the conclusion that this site is a complete scam. I read a few complaints on this website about this company. I wish that I had seem them before placing an order with this fradulent website. BUYERS PLEASE BEWARE OF DVDSETSHOP.COM. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING BECAUSE THIS WEBSITE IS COMPLETELY FRADULENT.

I ordered Monk set 1-7, gave shipping address and paid for item. Three days later an email arrived saying they could not ship without a personal phone number. I emailed back saying I would not give this information and if it was needed to ship to cancel order. They responded saying to keep the dvds which I had not recieved. I emailed requesting a tracking number and they emailed back the order was cancelled and credit would be issued in twenty four hours, however, it would take 45 to 60 days to complete the transfer of money due to the banks involved. It took an hour for them to take money out of my account and I am espected to believe 45-60 days to credit my card. I have contacted Visa and they are looking into this.I know what this sounds like, but all of the above is true and varifiable.
