E-Z Movers Chicago- I asked the delivery men to be extra careful with only 1 item, my hand carved bed from Bali. Not only did they break the headboard, they set it up against the wall, placing the peices together so I wouldn't notice. A few days later when I tried to put the bed together, the headboard just fell apart when I pulled it from the wall (it hadn't been touched since the movers set it there). I took photos and contacted the company. They mailed me a form that I signed prior to the move with a list of previously damaged items. On the list was a table I wrote down and added to that in someone else's handwriting was my headboard! These bastards not only broke my headboard and tried to cover it up but then they committed fraud! I was so busy at the time that I didn't want to deal with it so I didn't do anything about it. Looking back, I really wish I had because they probably went on to do the same to others thinking they can get away with it. Oh, and instead of picking up my couches to move them, they pushed them on their sides along a dirty garage floor. When I asked how my couches got holes in them when they only had to move them 50ft, they told me it was my fault because I didn't pay for wrapping! This company obviously doesn't care that they hire illegal immigrants, who don't give a crap about people's belongings. And to think, I even tipped those scumbags... what goes around comes around.
