On 10/30/09 I parked my car at the EZ Way parking lot in Elizabeth, which I have used in the past for off site parking at Newark airport. When I picked up my car on Nov 2, 2009 there were significant fresh scratches on the rear bumper. These screatches were definitely incurred during the car's time at the lot and it appeared they either rubbed against a cement wall or another car- the scratches were bright white- my car is gray. I made a report to the manager who completed a customer complaint form.. The narrative in the reort provided by the manager indicated the owner, Mr. Wilson, would contact me for the next steps. After 2 days there was no contact and I contacted the office. I was given an alternate contact number for a Tommy Wilson. For 4 days the number's mailbox has been full. No calls have been made to my contact number, so I am presuming this is the way these guys do business. I am advising all do not use EZWay parking or any other entity owned in Elizabeth or Newark by this person. Their lack of response speaks to the lack of respect they have for customers.
This damage to my car is minimal, and I will ultimately repair it. EZWay obviously has no intention of dealing with the damage they caused. They have lost me as a customer. I am warning everyone so not use EZWAy- the time will come where your car is damaged- maybe worse than mine and you will be in the same position.
