I contacted Mr Bitz at Eagle Fiberglass concerning the purchase of a reproduction 1933 Ford coupe in Aug of 1995. He promised to deliver me the car in 4 weeks if I gave him half down on the purchase price I did immediately. Two weeks later I contacted Mr Bitz again . He stated the build was going great and all he needed was the other half of the $4, ooo. Once again I did send the money immediately. Well that next two weeks turned into THREE MONTHS before I received the product. Mr Bitz had promised me my dream car And delivered a poor substtution for the agreed upon product The hinges for the doors were for two different cars, as they did not match. The winshield which was to be included never came. The rear window never came. The aluminum hidges he promised were rough fit as well as all of his parts which needed lots of retooling in order to fit properly The gel coat was so thick in some areas that it cracks continously. When I last talked to Mr Bitz he wanted me to send him a letter of recomendation about his work, and then he would send the windshield. I never got the windshield or any real help from MR Bitz in 1 year of dealing with him JUST ALOT OF TALK AND HUSTLE.
