One year later, to the date, I have sent this camera to Nikon Inc. for annual calibration.
Nikon refused to service it, stating, it is a "grey maket" camera that was "...not intended to be sold in the U.S.A. ..."

I have never been told about this important information nor have I intended to purchase a "grey market" camera. This important information has not been disclosed to me nor was it stated on the EBay bidding page.

Now I am stuck with this camera with very little recourse against the dishonest !

Nobody should buy anything from these crooks !!
