unauthorized MC transactions
(1) I would like to complain about this government grant site using an ad of our Canadian prime minister holding up a grant cheque of $11, 668 which cons Canadians into thinking this is a Canadian Govt. grant which it is not. I ordered on Feb. 27/09.
(2) a small charge was agreed to in order to receive the kit. After the kit was received, if I approved of it; it was agreed that $39.95 US funds would be paid...I am still waiting for the kit and before I got this thing cancelled my credit card was charged 3x.
(3) without my approval they charged me $6.95 per month Fraud Protection & $9.95 US Funds for Identity protection.
(4) when I phoned to cancel they told me it was "an on line thing only, nothing was mailed out"...but others read the information the same way I did.

fraudulent services
I thought I would simply satisfy my curiousity when I saw this ad on a banner for Government Grant Programs for $1, so I went to the site and paid my $1.

When I saw that all you got was an access code to go through another site for more information in the form of downloadabel PDF books that all said the same thing, I tried to call the number provided on the confirmation email to cancel. Amazingly enough, the number, 800-659-1473, is disconnected.

Emailing the company directly gets a return e-mail stating it can not be delivered. A month later I find a new number for them, 866-336-9634. This apparently leads to their cancellation line where the recording states that all facts were clearly stated in the offer and all past charges are non-refundable (how sweet). however, it says to hold for the next available agent, and then hangs up. Over...and over...and over again.

By not making a reasonable and viable way for people to contact them to cancel future charges, this company is in violations of state and federal laws regarding deceptive trade practices. As such, I am filing charges with the Federal Trade Commision, Federal Communication Commision, and the Texas State Attorney General Office for Consumer affairs, as well as the Better Business Bureau.

I highly reccommend everyone else do the same to put a stop to these types of predatory and deceptive businesses and show the rest of them that the consumers are no longer going to just sit by and allow them to victimize and steal from us.

Scam- No return on money!
Well- signed up for $1 membership- unaware of other "Free" memberships included- which were not free and I was charged by them a montly charge- luckily I caught this after the first month and got everything cancelled before they took anymore of my money.
They all kept saying that I agreed to the terms- so that may be true- but they were misleading in the first place. I just want all my 45.00 total BACK- This is a huge scam!!

fraudulent business practices
Ordered the free 7 day trial, $1.00, and seven days later was charged $29.95. At time of sign up there was no indication of further charges after the seven day free trial, and no information on website to cancel, or that a cancellation was required after the free trial. The 800 number, customer service or whatever you want to call it, was a recorded message that provided no helpful information, nor any other means of contacting them. I have since initiated a charge back dispute through my bank, and the process will take up to 45 days to rectify. At least they cannot access my bank account info any further to charge me again without my authorization. In my opinion, and obviously many others, this company practices fraudulently and should be looked into by the authorities and a class action lawsuit should follow. As should any other business that operates this way. Enough said.

lack of product
I admit, I signed up for this and was expecting something. Anything, and received nothing. I got taken, thats for sure. They took my money and offered nothing in return. When I called the number of 866.342.2494 I was hung up on by Maria and Chandra at least was able to get me to a manager. He cancelled my account, of course would not refund and charges, but was totally unable to answer any of my questions as to who does the lead generating, they cannot track anything they do, or at least thats what Michael told me when I asked if he could check when my emails were sent (which I never received). Nothing physical is ever sent, its all done by email, oh wait not that way when I called him on that, its done on the web. Their people can resend but cannot prove they ever sent anything to begin with. I asked specific questions about lead generators, where they get their leads, how their posted, what the validity was and he could answer NONE of my questions!
GUYS WATCH OUT! I even had charges pending to my account that were hidden (meaning even the bank couldn't see who the pending payment was for) until they actually got their money. My bank was even taken aback with this underhanded trick!

No delivery of services/charges to account
My complaint mirrors that of others here. Ordered literature and service for $1.00 on a 7 day trial. My account was charged the $1.00 . To date I have recieved nothing and have had an additional charge of$29.95 charged to my account. I have contacted [email protected] as suggested by others.Hope to get this resolved soon.

I am trying to cancel my membership with Earn Cash From Grants.com. They give a number to call and it refers me to this. I don't know how this will cancel my membership but it needs to be done. NOW... Danny
