As a promotional technique by East Coast Appliance, you had to spend a certain amount of money in purchases to get 500.00 in gift cards from the grocery store of your choice. On July 13th I was told to go with this company by East Coast Appliance to replace another company (claim your groceries) that went bankrupt. I have been dealing with Claim Your Groceries since March 09. I never received one gift card for 5 months from Claim Your Groceries. I registered with Claim Your Visa Cards on 7-13-09. I printed out EVERYTHING that came with the registration process: vouchers, terms and conditions, and the registration validation form. I followed everything according to the terms and conditions. I sent in two receipts with vouchers attached for the months of August and September. Two months went by and I had received not one gift card. I called multiple times over the past two months. Melissa the manger at 1-815-741-3900 ext. 102 claims I have only called twice according to their records. LIE! Phone records will prove that. I have spoken with multiple people at this company and every customer service representative I speak with tells me something different. They kept telling me they were behind in processing receipts and they will get my vouchers processed as fast as they can. They claim on 9-21 is when they received my August receipt which is invalid according to the terms and conditions. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT. They are lying about the terms and conditions on their website. Nowhere on my terms and conditions does it say that I can only purchase certain items from the grocery store. It states food, gas, ext. I mailed in my receipts from Wal-Mart on time, and over 100.00. They are telling me my receipts don’t qualify b/c it’s not just food on the receipt. I spoke with an employee on 10-01 that told me they changed their terms and conditions and they don’t have to notify you if this happens. Her name is Alison at [email protected]. I emailed copies of the terms and conditions and receipts. I never heard a response back. I talked with the so called manager Melissa on 10-02-09 who I called three times and she claims she never received my voicemails. She proceeded to tell me lies about how I was wrong and I have the wrong terms and conditions and how those terms and conditions are not there’s. I said okay…….tell me where I can go to see your terms and conditions. She changed her story and said that I was looking at Claim Your Visa Cards terms and conditions when I should have seen another terms and conditions that are different at groceryrebate.net. So I went to both of these websites today to see my terms of conditions that I have a copy of and the terms and conditions that she claims I should have seen at groceryrebate.net. Come to find out the terms and conditions are completely different from what I have and they have the same exact information on each of these websites. Another lie. I’m tired and angry and sick of being upset over this dishonest company. Melissa tells me that she can’t do anything for me. She said since I didn’t follow the terms and conditions that I’m disqualified and I won’t receive any of the 500.00 girt cards or my 10.00… supposed to be REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE that they cashed from my bank account to get this process started. I said to her “how would I have even known that my receipts weren’t valid, you didn’t even process my August receipt until 9-21-09”. I’ve been calling every day to find out when I’m getting my gift cards, and employees kept telling me they hadn’t received it. I can’t believe what I’ve had to go through.
