so we bought a loveseat and a couch from easy life. It looked really good and we have been looking for a couch like it. When they were delivered to us the sofa didn't fit through our stairway or the elevator. we have 3 different doors and wouldn't go through either one. I called the store immediately to let them know of the situation. The manager was not in but the salesman told us there would be a 20% stocking fee as stated on the contract. I told him that I want to talk to the manager and see how much will be returned to me and what I should do about the other sofa in my house. He NEVER called back and would not answer my calls. The salesman never mentioned that if I were to leave the loveseat in my house until his manager got to me, that I would not be able to return it. So he never called me and they gave me the impression that if I left it UNPACKAGED in my house, it would be a 20% stocking fee! Also the delivery men told me that they would pick up the loveseat if I would buy something and delivered to my place again...meaning that it could be returnable. So when I finally got the hold of the manager, he told me that there is nothing he can do because he does not know of the conversation that took place. He said it is non-refrundable and he could not anything about it! The manager told me that he would try to get me a 20% restocking fee instead of 50% only to get me out of his store because I was talking to another aggravated and angry customer! And told me the chances are good he could do that. Not only he did not call me back and answer my calls, but he lied! Then I called the joke they call customer service and talked to the head supervisor and they were VERY DISRESPECTFUL and told me that it was the delivery people's mistake and they could not do anything about it! All of them are very very unprofessional and disrespectful! Now I had no choice but to pay the stocking fees and pay for their mistake!<br />
Don't everr buy anything from them because they will lie to you and steal your money!!! And you do not want to deal with the store on Torrance, CA or their unprofessional salepersons and especially the manager!
