Easy Saver Reviews

Unauthorized charge
After seeing my bank statement, I noticed the $14.95 charge for Easy Saver. I only ordered flowers for my mom and grama for Mother's Day and did not recall anything about Easy Saver. When I called the number on my bank statement for Easy Saver, I got a very nice representative named Amanda. I explained my situation, and asked where this information is that I supposedly signed up for, she explained to me that it was a pop up window that appears after your put in your credit card information. If you enter your email and submit, it will automatically sign you up for the Easy Saver discount membership. Sooo, for anyone else who orders flowers, if you do not want to be signed up and charged $14.95 a month for a service you may or may not use, cancel or close out that box. She furthermore told me she would be happy to credit my account back the $14.95 and cancel the membership. It pays to be nice.

Credit card charges
When making a purchase from ProFlowers.com there is a misleading portion at the end asking you to sign up for a discount. It doesn't charge your credit card right away, but after the "free trial" it charges 14.95 to Easy Saver. This is clearly meant to "trick" you into unknowingly signing up for this service. I think it's despicable that ProFlowers.com and Easy Saver conduct business in this way. It's clearly an issue as there are hundreds of complaints online yet when I called proflowers and easy saver they actually DEFENDED this unethical practice. Personally I will NEVER order from proflowers again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this scam. Both companies should be ashamed.

charged my account 14.95
I was unauthorized a charged 14.95 from them for what I don't know. I saw them on the web but didn't give them my account number. I have no idea why or how they keep getting away with this. They have made my account goin the negatives which have cost me sooo much money, that I don't have. I wasn't even using that account and they still used it.
What can we do to stop these companies from taking advantage of us.
I have started proceedings from the bank that I use. I also have another company that has done the same thing with me. I am going after them too. Am I alone?

Unauthorized charge
I checked my bank account online this morning and saw that there was a charge of $14.95 pending from some company called Easy Saver. I have never heard of this company before and am quite upset. Now it's time to call my bank and hopefully get a stop payment on this fraudulent charge.

Ripped off
Help smb! I downloaded a (free) speed up the computer. After i installed the {{{Free}}} version, the product will not work unless you register and buy this program. I tried to exit and cancel out of that register page. I then removed this program from my computer, but the task bar still shows it icon. I was charged $14.95 for nothing! I cant get the darn icon out of my computer!!!

Charged even after cancellation
For Mother's Day, I purchased flowers from ProFlowers for my mom. The flowers themselves were $20, but shipping was double that! When I got my e-mail receipt from ProFlowers for my order, they said I qualified for a rebate on my shipping, I thought "Great!" since my shipping was double my order...So, I clicked the link on my e-mail and followed it to the Easy Saver website. I read their user agreement, terms of service, yatta yatta and basically came to understand you get a 30 day trial period which you must pay a $1.95 activation fee and if you haven't canceled your account by the end of those 30days, you are charged the full $14.95 membership fee. With the knowledge, I signed up, filled out my rebated form, printed it, and then canceled my account all in about 30mins. I saw the $1.95 on my online statement, so I knew it was there and then yesterday, May 29, 2008, I check my online statement again and see I had been charged the $14.95!
When I canceled my account, I did it online, I followed they're steps and even filled out their survey (with comments) as to why I was closing my account only 30mins after opening it and now, a month later, I see I was still charged anyway.
Tomorrow I will call them first thing in the morning to get my money back. I also e-mailed them already as well as my bank (its after hours, so I can't call now).
If they don't fix this, I'll be reporting it to the BBB.

From what I have previously read from other people's complaints, it seems they're pretty easy to work with, but I've read a few who said they were extremely difficult, we'll see tomorrow.

Unauthorized Chargs
I placed an order for flowers through ProFlowers for mother's day and purposely rejected the deal to save 15% on my next order by signing up for "Easy Saver". What ProFlowers does is very misleading and deceitful. ProFlowers allowed another organization to charge my account without my permission and when an issue arose they were conveniently nowhere around to help. I thought this was a reputable business. I will not be doing business with ProFlowers ever again!!!

Unauthorized charges-$14.95
I was billed $1.95 the 1st time (they call that an "enrollment service charge"), then $14.95 each month for 2 months by an outfit called EASY SAVER, which claims to be some kind of rewards program. I called the telephone number listed on my credit card statement and the woman listened to my story and said she would take off the May charge of $14.95. Then I asked that the previous charges be removed also and she said she was authorized to remove up to 2 charges of $14.95. I quit while I was ahead and didn't push that the $1.95 be taken off, but I suppose if you made a stink, you could get that off too. She said when I had made a purchase on ProFlowers I signed up for a $15 discount and that enrolled me in the program. I NEVER heard of clicking for a discount and getting automatically enrolled in something!!! This is a fraudulent tactic!

Unathorized Credit Card Charge
I found a $1.95 charge on my credit card from Easy Saver and did not know what it was. I did an internet search and found all the complaints listed about this practice from this company. My charge apparently was surreptitiously generated from some Pro Flowers orders. I do not remember ever agreeing to a monthly charge or giving out my credit card number to Easy Saver. It might have been connected to a $10 off shipping on your next order, whcih never happened either.

I called Pro Flowers, where i have placed three orders in a few months and complained to them about it. The rep said she has been receiving a lot of complaints on this, but that Pro Flowers management has not done anything about it.

I disputed the charge with my credit card company and they said to call Easy Saver and get it taken off and get a cancellation number. Easy Saver complied without any back talk, but said it could take a couple billing cycles to take effect.

I called my credit card company and passed on the cancellation number.

I told Pro Flowers I would not order any more flowers from them and contacted the radio show where I heard about the Pro Flowers Ad and informed them of this scam.
