Illegal charge
We ordered me flowers twice to be delivered by Proflowers. They charged what they quoted, and then in december charged a 1.75 as easy saver. Then in January charged the card what they quoted him and then an additional charge of 14.95 that he did not authorize. These charges need to be removed.

did not join this and have been paying for overt 12 months
I finally checked my last 12 months credit card and discovered a $14.95 charge each month from Easy Saver for the whole year of 2009.
I have been charged $179.40 without my permission.
My mistake in not checking the credit card more closely..
This has to be corrected.

Rip Off
Un-customer friendly. I believe their "rewards" program works more to put $$ in their own pockets than the customer's. I missed out on a $25 Babies 'R Us gift card because I was unable to submit by the April deadline. I was under stress and out of town and overlooked it. Yes, that was on me, but my complaint is that they should change their policy and give you up to a year to use it. Likewise how gift cards should have no expiration date or penalty fees when redeeming.
When my spouse was laid off work/ umemployed we could not afford to take advantage of any savings through shopping (rewards offers).
The only reason we kept it was for the $100 savings bond for our son. Looking back, at $19.95 a month for membership, several months already paid, it would have been better to just buy the savings bond ourself, but of course we could not predict the unemployment.
A year's membership is required for the savings bond and I sent the "registration form" certified mail last week (must be mailed within 30 days after yearly membership signup date). I do not recall anything on that form saying I also have to log on to the Easy Saver website and print an "application form" and mail that in. When I inquired about canceling membership a couple weeks ago, the customer service lady told me to wait after I mailed in the first form (no mention about the required second form) which by the way, requests the same exact information as the first! Except that it's listed under "registration" instead of "application."
I feel that whatever fine print or misinformation or under-communication is designed for the customer to lose out on the savings bond. So $100 for the savings bond minus the two certified mail fees (my choice as I don't trust them to otherwise say they received it) plus about $140 "thrown out the window" all in the name of this elusive savings bond.
Had I not double- checked and instead gone ahead to cancel membership today, I would have missed out on the savings bond because the second form is supposed to be submitted while you are still a "paying" member, even though only a year's membership is required to get the savings bond. So yet another $19.95 to come out of my checking account next Monday that I will have to wait to get refunded by the company or either dispute with the bank. And knowing this company like many banks they have fine print that they can make any changes whenever. Maybe this Easy Saver program is good for those who can afford to shop but in this economy $20 is not something to fritter away. Like why pay $20 for a "virtual coupon" when you don't have the rest of the money for the item itself.
Had this company let me use the $25 gift card after April maybe I would have considered not writing this complaint. But all they offer is "This is our policy" and "I'm sorry you feel that way." I bet a lot of people are also dissatisfied and have cancelled membership due to similar situations/ unresolved complaints. And their policies aren't laws but arbitrary, therefore a supervisor/manager has the discretionary power to make exceptions, especially if they want to retain a customer and avoid complaints to sites like this or to the Better Business Bureau and possible Class Action Lawsuits.
On a final note, my computer "anti-virus" software flashed a warning that popped up when I logged onto www.myeasysaver.com, that it is not a "trusted" website (meaning hacker/ phishing/ scamming/ spamming/ viruses and identity theft) breaches.
I apologize if I did not articulate this well enough but this company has taken enough of my money and time for me to construct perfect sentence structure/ syntax. Now on to care for my son... the $19.95 to Easy Saver going instead to his clothes and toys as I am not "flush" enough to partake in their so called "Easy" program.

I bought my mother flowers for Mother's Day last year and I just realized I have been paying $14.95 every month without my authorization. I want to report this company, and I want my money back. I will never order from Proflowers again!

Unauthorized charges
I was over looking my credit card charges and notice $14.95 from easy saver. I begin to check into this further to find out I have 14 charges of $14.95. How did it happen? A order was placed thru Oriental Trading Company. When ordering from many companies and you select free shipping, or some type of coupon you get enrolled into Easy Saver. The first charge will be $1.95. If you don't catch it and call the number to decline they will start $14.95 charges every month. Now for the good news. If this has happen to you from a company do this. Call 1-866-828-4677 hrs 9am-9pm. Be extra nice and tell them you contacted your credit card company and they told you Easy Saver has been working with customer to resolve the mix up with charges. They will work with you. The first person will most likely only be able to take back 2 charges. Keep being nice. You should then be transfered to a customer affairs agent. They can talk care of all the other charges, but they will start with just half. Be nice! Ask is it anything else they can do. Say something like do you have a direct number I will be able to give my credit card company when they call you back. I will be disputing the rest with them, or the BBB. They will put you on hold several times. Keep being nice and they will say do to your situation we will credit full amount. Make sure you get a confirmation number. If you have more then 12 charges they will credit 12 and send check for rest. From now on we all need to do a better job of checking our statement.
