I noticed two unauthorized charges on my bank statement just this morning. one is still on hold, which is being cancelled, and the other one was taken this morning. i had sent my mother something off of Proflowers.com, which i ordered Saturday, and today is Tuesday! i never even agreed to anything, i never entered my email address, or zip code. i called them and spoke with Latoya, she advised my account would be cancelled and i would be refunded my money. i asked that they send me an email confirming that my account was closed and that there would be no additional charges, see you get something out of working in customer service.
all of that was this morning. i had not received an email by the time i got home, so me being furious called them back. this time i talked to Linda. she advised it takes them 24-48 hrs to send me an email confirming my account was closed. i asked why it took so long to send an email, and she just said that another department there handles all the cancellations of the accounts and that is how long it takes. i was baffled. i said "so they have that many accounts to close, and that many people to refund, that you have to allow 24-48 hrs?" no response.
she then advised to call back in 2 days if i did not receive my email. she then said, and i quote, "i hope you enjoyed your account while you were with us". i flipped out and told her that i did not know i had an account, cause i did not sign up for an account, and i was pretty happy i was closing it. the nerve of those people. how can they work there knowing that angry people are going to be calling all day, and that they have to deal with it? they must be getting paid pretty well, or be completely heartless. I will NEVER buy anything from proflowers again. and for them to give my info away like that, that has to be illegal. i am reporting them to the BBB, and will also be writing a letter to the attorney general.
