I found a charge of $16.95 on my credit card from a company by the name of American Leisure. I phoned them and fought to have the charges reversed. After about 10 minutes of badgering me they finally agreed to reverse the charges. I contacted my back immediatly and stated once the charges were reversed I should block my current card and have new ones issued. Also, I was to write them a letter about the unauthized charge and to block any further charges to my account. I did this via email, their website, US mail and by fax. Not a few hours later I checked my account again to find a pending charge of $16.95 from another company called Easy Saver, which is a subsiderary of American Leisure or visa versa. My bank blocked my card immediatly so no additional charges can be placed. Even though I stated in my letter no additional charges from them or subsideraries, this additional unauthorized charge was placed. My Bank will be taking care of it for me.

Hello I just wanted you to know that I have been helping my Aunt who is 87 years of age. Last Nov. her son and I discovered how bad her finances were and quickly jumped in to help her. There have been charges on her check book month after month and I finally took her to the bank to find out just what these two charges of 19.95 a month were. They pulled up a viewed detail and came up with a phone number. My aunt and I decided to go home and call this number I was given. It was to a place called Easy Saver. I was put on hold for 20 minutes but stayed cause I wanted to find out exactly what we had been purchasing and not getting. Like I said my aunt can be easlily talked into so I thought it was something she had purchased and needed to pay for. I let it go and now I regret that I did that. I am just so glad I finally took care of this as it was the biggest scam ever. She had been paying this each month since November and who knows how long she might of been paying for it before that. I called them and told them who I was and that I wanted to know what this was for and how it came to be charged to me. The girl told me that it was something on a small purchase that was extra and knowing that my aunt might of thought it cost nothing but here she has been paying this since November that I know of. How long she was paying this before that is only a guess on my part. They told me that it would allow her to to get discounts on hotels and airlines and such. My aunt is 87 and not traveling any time soon. The american leisure was for other things she would probably never use, discounts also. I just think it is awful how they target older people and they only think they are getting something only to forget what they even purchased and continue paying. We needed to check this out long ago but so much needed attention we just started chipping away at her finances and getting things straightened out little by little. I only thank Goodness that now I have taken care of this and she will be charged no more. When i called them I got a recording and it also wanted to know if we needed to cancel but I wanted to know exactly what we were canceling. I was very shocked when they told me it would be only 3 minutes before the next person could take me and I waited on hold for 2o minutes. I finally was told and then canceled it and then called her bank and put a stop payment on those two charges making sure we would never get charged again for such a scam. Thanks so much for hearing my complaint and I hope many of you out there read this and keep watch on all that you are paying for. I know many people who do not even check their checking account but please beware on this one.
