They advertised a tent for sale that was made out of steel.
Tent was purchased as a gift for wife's business.
When tent arrived it was checked for damage, all was well. This was July 09.
Tent was given as a gift on 10 Sept 09. As setting up tent, two areas on the top of the tent where canvas is, snapped. There was no wind, no rain, no tension NOTHING they just snapped.
It was confirmed by local metal shop that it was not made out of steel as advertised. It was made out of aluminum.
They refused to work with us because the tent was purchased over 30 days before. Explained it was a gift. They were called as soon as it was opened as a gift and caught. They offered to allow us to send it back, they would look at it and decide replacement. I stated fine but had letter it was not steel as advertised and that we wanted what was advertised did they just make a mistake and give us the wrong tent?
THEN they offered to replace the 4 poles of the tent. Explained the 4 poles were not what snapped. Explained that even metal place stated they could not be fixed. Paid over 150$ for an item that never even was used and was defective wrongly advertised from the beginning.
Now they are refusing to answer emails.
Can take pictures upon request.
