Did they say why they wouldn’t cancel your account because i am having the same problem but i just signed up on Friday 2/18/11 and i read there was a 72 hour cancellation policy.

ebizprofitshortcuts.com offered a look at a work-from-home opportunity for $1.97. I authorized that payment and was taken to a series of windows to get to the subject to see what was up. There were several offers along the way - all of which I denied. At no time did I authorize any other sums. When I go to access my bank account to pay a few bills, an additional sum of $97.47 was taken out by HOMEPROACADEMY.COM which I did not even sign up for or view. This transaction resulted in an overdraft of my account and additional bank charges have been levied. I am going through the process of lodging a dispute claim with the bank and have contacted the above parties stating that I believe the money was taken without my authorization, but have heard nothing yet. I see that there have been plenty of other complaints regarding these companies and I should have looked them up first, but I will be pursuing whatever means I can to remedy this situation. A complaint with the Better Business Bureau will be happening as well as contact with my state's attorney general to see what other avenues are open.

I was online trying to pay for a program that my sister referred me to. I accidentally ended up creating an account with ebiz. After calling my sister and telling her that the price had dropped, she told me to look at the information on the account i had established because the price didnt sound correct. After finding out i had signed up and paid $1.97 for the wrong program i called to cancel the account. I was assured the acount would be canceld. 11 days later, i get a charge for $97 and change. i have emailed the company and asked that my request to cancel this account be honored and my money refunded. whats worse, they're not registered with the BBB. Its a matter of principal, they cant force me to take/use a product i dont want. Any ideas on how to get my money back? I know i will be getting a new card, they wont be able to draw any more money out of my account!
