Fraudulent enrollment in shopper's discount
Same problem like others have!!! Why I have to pay 11.97 dollars per month without any notice via email or phone call?!!!When I signed up, you didn't send any comfirmation to tell me that you had already automaticly put me into a list that whoever have enrollments and choose recieve coupons need to pay 11.97 dollars every month!!!
You are just scammer!Don't choose this company.And I am waiting for someone to solve this prolem!!!
I refuse to pay those money!

Fraudulant & Unauthorized Charges
I rented a book because the USPS lost the one I rented from BN and they didnt have anymore. So, I went with eCampus since they had 2 day delivery. I paid an extra $15 for 2day shipping and it took me 12 days to get the book. They used the Thanksgiving holiday as an excuse and refused to refund me the shipping costs. When it was time to return it, the eCampus site only gave me the option to print a packing slip and address label. So, I had to pay my own shipping. A couple weeks later, I receive a charge for the book that was verified delivered by tracking number. I called and they refunded me the majority of what they charged...for some reason they kept a couple dollars. I didnt care at that point and washed my hands of it until I received a charge of $109 today. Customer service states that it was because I didnt use their prepaid shipping label, so they had to charge me the full cost of the book. I tried to explain that the site didnt give me that option and she stated I shouldve called and gotten one, that it wasnt their fault I didnt see it. They said that they will refund me since I had called about it earlier and that the refund will show up in 2-10 business days. This company is nothing more than a fraud and den of thieves...AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I returned my book rental to them on 12/18/2010, this is now 01/03/2011...they are STILL saying that they have not receive my book, and are charging my credit card funds for being late, I called the customer service number and they said it can take 20-30 days to process a return...yet they are still saying I am late with the book...so not only did I pay 66.00 to rent the book now they are charging me 17.00 on 12/30 for a late fee and said another will hit on 1/6!! DO NOT RENT BOOKS FROM HERE! It would be cheaper to buy them! Less hassle too! RENTER BEWARE!!!
I think that its sad that they are preying on college students who are already strapped with cost of college...RUN DONT RENT FROM HERE!!!

Non payment for sold books
I sold two books to ecampus in August. Waited a month or so and never received the money. When I contacted them I was told it will take up to 6 weeks. Waited the six weeks recontacted them and was told that the checks were already sent. Told them they were full of it and asked them to send me copy of cancelled checks etc. Then received and email that said, sorry we will reissue your checks, it would take 30 days. Well...I contacted at the 30 day mark...was told that checks would be sent our immediately...no surprise ...still no money. This company should be shut down. I am filing a complaint with our attorney general and sent our flashed to everyone on facebook I know...telling them to pass it on. Somehow this company needs to be stopped.

Multiple charges on my acct
First of all from the start of the order is already messy. I didn't know that up to now my agony is still continuing.
First I'm trying to order one book. After I'm done ordering, I forgot to log out. not knowing still log on, I noticed that I have 2 confirmation email that I have 2 orders. Since I placed the order at night, the first thing in the morning that next day, I called and talked about the duplicated order, but the response I got is the order has been shipped. I could not imaging only for few hours, they shipped my order, So I let it go, I will just return the book and I'll be charged with the restocking fee and for shipping . Here I lost already 25.00. When I got my bill from that stupid Bill me later, I was charged for 3 books. Now the problem is that I'm trapped with 157.10 that no ones to accept the fault. Ecampus said that there can't fix it and Bill me later said they can't fix it. Ecampus can't even give me a manager to talked to, since they are helping other customer. Am I not a customer, or maybe lots of complain. they can't even give me their acctg dept. or anything, so how does these companies works screw up customers? Now I wil be ding with finance charges if I will not pay the 157.00.

This company advertises cheap books. When you purchase a book from ecampus.com, they automatically enroll you into Shopper's discount scam. They transmit your credit card details to this company. Shopper's discount bills your credit card for $12 a month for absolutely no service.

Refuses to ship books or credit account.
I ordered four textbooks on 01/08/10. One book was received in ten days in a single package with a single tracking number. eCampus was contacted for status of other books and refuses to provide prrof of other mailings, including shipping labels, weights and tracking numbers. Claims all four textbooks were mailed in same package wighing 12 ounces total. eCampus refuses to credit account for missing books or provide further proof books were mailed.

Bad service
On May 11th, 2009ecampus.com received my textbooks, which they agreed to purchased. On September 16th, 2009I received a check from ecampus.com for these books. It required long time to receive this expedited service.

These guys- friggin scumbags!!!!!!
Bought a book, said it was used and in good condition. It was a rather expensive History book that costs over $100 new. Paid these scumbags $72. Got in probably a week. It had probably 80% of the pages were lined with different colored markers. Of those pages that were marked, probably 75% of the page was highlighted. It wasnt a book that could be used- it should have been tossed or sold at a very low price for someone who knew what they were getting. They cheerfully offered a refund. You pay the postage back, they bill you for the postage they paid AND THEN they charge 15% restocking fee. So, on this $72 book, I am paying $11.04 in postage, PLUS $10.80 in restocking. What a racket. When I complained, they directed me to their terms and conditions. Satisfaction guaranteed...right!

Fraud and scam
I sold a book to ecampus for 37.00 dollars. It said allow 4-6 weeks for a check to be sent. My book was received 1/20/2009 and today's date is 3/3/2009. I looked on their website and my buyback report says that the book has been received and is in good condition. Yet, no check has been printed. Your telling me that they have had my book since 1/20/2009 and its in good condition and still no check has been sent to me yet. I emailed them today also asking when they are going to send my check, I got this response, 'Your buyback was received on 1/20 please allow six weeks for your check to be sent. Guess tomorrow will be six weeks, and one day, and counting. Do not, Do not, Do not send your books to ecampus. Ill update you, when or if i get my check.
