Signed up for Dish Network and was quoted $44.95 per month fee. Made absolutely sure via the phone sales person no taxes or other fees would be added. Was told numerous times the fee is a flat $44.95 for the 18 month period in which I signed up for. Received first statement for $56.65. Called Dish Network and Echostar to ask for a copy of the contract stating the monthly payment. Neither company can provide the contract. Asked them to retrieve the phone call in which the price was quoted to me. They couldn't retrieve that information either. I feel it is breach of contract. I have had my services disconnected but do not feel I should have to pay the $240 early termination fee. Additionally, would like a refund for $49.99 which I paid for installation. I do, however, feel responsible to pay the prorated rate from 9/11/07 (the date in which it was connected) until 9/27/07 (the date in which it was disconnected).
