I bought a Eureka Forbes "i nova e- boiler"water Purifier on July 2004. I kept on changing the filters and AMC on and off. Then suddenly my machine reported some fault with the music. I made a complaint at their office number at Gurgaon (2343599) and was told that some one would attend my complaint. A technitian named Ajit Singh immediately attended the complaints and replaced the board against payment of Rs 1100/- on Sept 26, 2007.
The technitian was in a hury to take the payment with out any providing receipt which I flately refused and I made 50 % payment. The balance was made only after obtaining the receipt vide no. 13557401. The music has again gone bad within two days of installation.
OnNov 12, 2007 I received a call from DK Thakur of Eureka forbes office ( 911242343599) at 1632 PM at my mobile and the conversation continued for 01.42 minutest to inquire about feedback and I explained the problem, he immediately asked me to speak at the same number and lodge complaint and I did so. The company gave me a complaint number at the same time the lady attended the telephone asked me to speak to their franchisee - Aparna, who looks after my area and I promptly made a complaint and was given a number (75) on the same day. The lady gave me half an hour lecture on duplicate boards and cheating by unauthorised people and also told me that their receipt book had stolen by someone for which they have already lodged FIR at police station. At the end of the conversation she also told me that she would be sending Ajit Singh to redress the problem. The moment she uttered the name of the person, I informed her he was the person who replaced the board. The lady who was talking of unscrupulous people immediately changed her track and started telling me I have to pay for that, then asked me to pay for labour charges etc etc. I informed her that I would not be making a single penny and if it was not repaired , I would inform the Eureka Forbes. Finally she agreed to send the person the very next day with a promise that only the PCB would be repaired. Since no body turned up my ordeal continued and on Nov 23, 2007 on my inquiry , I was told that the warranty alteady expired and she could not do anything eventhough, the warranty expiry date is on Nov 26, 2007. The matter was reported to Eureka Forbes many a times including their Team Leader Nitin Bharadwaj. The last dialog was made on Nov 24, 2007 and was promised to send engineers by tomorrow.
Awaiting response.
