On 6/25/2010 I purchased a magazine from a young salesman, Gabriel Forbus. He had no arms and said he was earning money to buy prosthetics. Imagine using a disability to bilk compassionate people living on social security disabilty themselves?? Boy do I feel dumb! I was told it cash would earn him more points. Ofcourse I paid cash. I'm compassionate...and stupid. He really did need arms as it seems he was born with only half arms that ended at his elbows. It has been over three months and I have not recieved my Shape magazine. I called the company and was told that the publishers are to blame. They are behind in churning out magazines because of the overwhelming and unexpected demand. Are you kidding me??? I paid $63.00 in cash during a recession. I hardly think there was an overwhelming boom in the magazine grossly overpriced selling market. I do see plenty of Shape magazines that sit unpurchased in every store I frequent however. Give me a break. What goes around comes around. I sure hope Gabriel Forbus has his new arms by the time he falls on his face. Karma is real.
