Delaying Confirmation and raising fares
I just experienced the WORSE flight booking situation in my life. I booked my flight and an automated response confirmed my reservation - PENDING PAYMENT. The following day I book the same flight with them for my daughter and it was confirmed (including payment) the next day. So I made an enquiry about my reservation. After finally finding a service number to call, I was informed that my credit card wasn't valid. And when I explained that I used the very same billing information for both reservations - they went quiet. Then I find a support person that didnt speak English, but at least understood that they wanted me to send them pictures my passport and credit card - and like a fool I did. Then after 3 more painful days of trying to resolve the issues, they come back and state that the fare had gone up 32% and if I wanted the flight I would have to pay the additional cost. IS THERE A GOVERMENT AGENCY I CAN CONTACT TO REGISTER A LEGAL CHALLENGE?!

excessive charges
I tried to book a flight on edreams but was lucky that they don't accept Visa Debit cards. I noticed that they charge £19 to process card payments, which I consider excessive. Also they ask for a passport number just to be able to register with them, something which other booking sites do not require . I was unable to get through to an operator on their call line and have yet to receive an email regarding a query I had. I ended up booking with travel republic which was cheaper because they don't charge for card payments. Their customer ratings also seem much better

Money taken from card despite 'unconfirmed booking'
I tried to book a flight with edreams but the online payment crashed half way through doing the transaction. An email came through to me to say that my booking was not confirmed. I checked that money hadn't left my account and waited for the 24 hours I was told to wait for a confirmation email. No email came and still no money from my card, so I booked a flight elsewhere presuming that this had been cancelled.
I checked through my bank statement and can now see that the money was taken from my card 3 days later but there was no further email about the confirmed flight.
I subesqunetly wrote to edreams and have had three appalling emails back, none of which actually answered any of my questions. I have threatened to call the police as this appears to be fraudulent and now no one replies to my emails at all.

scam
***terrible travel agency***
It must be scam. I've read many complaints like exactly my case. I booked two tickets yesterday from ca.edreams.com and was taken my money by credit card. They sentme two e-tickets by email, and I printed them. However!! I missed the flight this morning becasue the staff at the Edmonton airport said that there was no booking number on me!! I was intending to go to Seoul via San francisco, but I coulnd't. what a terrible experience!!!
I called the costomer centre three times, but they've never apolozied me and haven't accept their fault! They said to send cancellation and refund paper by email, but I can't trust them any more! The two e-tickets they sent me yesterday by e-mail were just a piece of garbage!!!

edreams gave my husband a confirmation number and took the money for the flight out of his account. once he arrived at the airport he was told the seat was reserved but had not been paid for. Where is our Money? he had to pay for another flight. tried to send complaint and it wouldn't go thru. horrible experience.

Unauthorized withdrawal/Fruad
Reading through all of these complaints, it is funny to see how many are EXACTLY the same situation as mine.
I bought a ticket from Copenhagen to Atlanta via Amsterdam. After buying it, they withdraw the money, but I then get an email saying that somethign went wrong with the card and as a security measure, I need to send them a copy of both sides of the credit card used and a picture of my ID.
Now, I feel incredibly stupid saying this, bought I was very hasty in buying the cheapest ticket, so I sent them the photocopies of the card and ID. In hindsight, I see now that this was retarded.
I get the same email about how the card is not working and that I need to contact my bank. I tell them that I just want my money back and the comply. However, I still haven't received my money, and now they are not answering my emails. The last one I got, after telling them that this is totally unacceptable, says that the representative I was emailing is currently on vacation or some shi*t and will be unavailable for x amount of days.
They gave me numbers to call, but of course, none of them work.
I've transfered all of my remaining money from that account into another and canceled my card that I used. Tomorrow I am filing a fraud complain at my bank and Visa.
It's amazing how this bogus company is still up after ripping so many people off...
They stole close to 1000 dollars, which fortunately in Swedish Kronas is not SO much thanks to the dollar being so low :P but being a student it definitely put a hole on my wallet.
I hope everyone the best in solving their problems with this dirty company and that it be exposed for what it really is.
Also, there seem to be two edreams. one is edreams.COM which seems to be legit, whereas edreams.NET is the bogus one, which we used

lack of help
I am having nothing but major problems with this company. As per my previous post things have now gotten even worse. I am unable to speak with anyone. They will only correspond via email and I am being sent emails by several different, un-educated, and ill-informed staff members - none of which are wililng to give me their names. Each email has a different story. When you try to contact customer service dept they send you the same story as always "please call us on these number" I cannot get through to these people that the phone numbers that they have given me DO NOT WORK FROM CANADA. All I am doing is just repeating myself - They do not even read the emails. All they continue to do is to give me non-existant phone numbers. I have had response from here from different staff memebers but all they do is give you the email address but do nothing - they say they are going to help but they don't. I have tried to have patience but it has now worn thin. I now have to agree with every poster on here that this is a fraudulent company and I suspect it is a scam. What boggles my mind is that legitimate airlines continue to do business with them and that they are still in business. They take your money and poof thats it - goodbye money. You'll never get it back and you'll never get your ticket/travel problems solved. I am now going to post this message to every other travel board I'm on warning people not to deal with this company. I think if we all did this then that would prevent other people falling into their trap.

airline refund/credit/changes
I purchased airline tickets from London to Venice return with Brtish Airways for this Oct using Edreams. Due to unfortunate illness we have had to cancel holiday plans. When I went to cancel the flight tickets Edreams told me that I had purchased non-refundable tickets. I asked for a credit towards another flight at a later time they told me I couldn't do that. I contacted BA directly and was told that no I could n't get a refund but I could make changes (cost 60 GBP per passenger) I conveyed this to Edreams and they said oh, yes I could make changes but it would cost me 90GBP per passenger. They then told me that I couldn't make any changes via email that I had to phone them directly. I live in Canada. They then sent me a phone number, which can't be used in Canada.I asked for another phone number and spent all day friday trying to get ahold of someone - no answer in the office. After reading the coments on this web-site I think I have just kissed my air-fare goodbye. I can't get a hold of anyone to help. Lesson to self: Always book tickets directly with the airline.
