I am a small business in a rural community. I had been advertising in the yellow pages for 18 years. I hadn't had much luck with the yellow pages, so I decided to cancel all my ads with Dex as well as my business associate's. My associate's ads were cancelled, but not mine. This is after I spoke to the sales person, and she assured me it would get done. Well, when the new phone books were distributed, I found that my ad had not been removed. I called and spoke to the sales person, she admitted her mistake, and gave me a number to call. This was in 2008, to date, I have been harrassed over and over again by the Dex people, and their collection agencies. After Dex would not remove the charges, I tried calling the sales person and was told I could not speak to her. I left several messages, and got no results. Dex does this to so many companies. It is wrong, and the U.S. Attorney General needs to get involved and investigate their practices, because they are wrong for this Nation.
