My husband and I attended Everest College in Burr Ridge IL. and moved to Orlando Fl.
My husband graduated as a Message Therapist and when we moved here we found out that he was still missing some CE (continuing education) Classes. He went to the local school here in Orlando and was enrolled but then told that he had to go to some other school. Come to find out that Director of the Massage course never took time to find out who he was which is a Graduate of Everest. Anyway, he finally get a meeting with the Schools President and the Director and he was told that not to worry that the classes would be comped and he only had to go for a month to get the credit he needed for his Massage License. Now he has been sitting in the school with no one know what to do with him. No one has been out to help him and get him started.
This school has so many issues that you can't trust anyone any more. We have 2 loans out of $16, 000 each and we can't get any help who do we see or speak too. They have a promise that you are their student for life you can go to them at any time so what now???
Think before going PLEASE!!

sir, i am 34 years old.i am a student of IFET engineeering college, gangarampalayam, villupuram i have joined the ifet college by this year 2009 fort he course mca. The students are treated like slave .the lecturers are not experienced. the student could not understand what they are teaching .they make the student to mugup the programmes of c language .accounts the ancillary paper also the same.after 15 days on watching those things i made complaints to the principal.i told him we cant understand the lesson.i also told him i myself study the lesson but i cant able to follow these rules(lot of assignnments and impositions.there is no time for studying).he told me to get the tc if am unable to follow those rules.i told this to vice chairman.he convinced me that they do some relaxations for the students.but after few days he told that he cant do anything regard this and told me to get tc.i ask for refund of money i have paid .he refused to return my money(25000 donation+25000 college fee+5000 caution deoposit+400 bus fee).i dont know what to do please help me.my email id is [email protected]

Please allow this letter to serve as awareness of racism at Clemson University. I have contacted Clemson, and the US Department of Education by phone and in person and have been disappointed by the way they handle discrimination claims. Essentially, Clemson University's Office of Access and Equality shows the complaint to the accused, and mails a copy of the accused's response to the victim and promptly closes the complaint. It has come to my attention that Clemson's discrimination system works against the student . Since that discover, I have made it my goal to warn other students and hopefully create a change at Clemson University.Therefore, I am contacting you as I feel that you will work for the students, and definitely bring any necessary findings to public light.



Important facts about Clemson University are as follow:



· In 2006, the US Department of Education informed a student that their understanding of the Title IV didn't require Clemson University to follow any set investigation procedures. Therefore, Clemson is at liberty to handle complaints as they desire which could and has included Clemson refusing appeals and not allowing students to admit further evidence against racism. Although there is a law that forbids racism at publicly funded schools, there is no law that requires Clemson to look into complaints the way that they should. Thus, students are put in the position to "investigate" claims on their own terms or fund expensive lawyers.

· Eugenia Tichenor, Clemson's Harassment Specialist, stated during a 2006 investigation that, "..I don't believe he's like racist because he would be like that with everyone". Therefore, any complaints against said person would not receive necessary attention if no other person had filed a complaint against them. Keep in mind that the minority percentage at Clemson University is low, thus leads to there being a low number of people to file complaints. A Harassment Specialist should remain neutral during an investigation, and their personal believes should determine the judgement of a complaint.

· Frankie Felder stated during a 2006 discrimination investigation that "the University doesn't have to assume any role.." and continued that the discrimination claim was "water under a bridge now!!!" This is an African American staff member that blatantly stated that Clemson doesn't have to do anything about any complaint! Eugenia Tichenor had opened an investigation in Jan 2006 after ignoring a complaint that her office received in November 2005. That indicates how serious or worried Clemson is about racial complaints. Ironically, Frankie Felder has confided to other african american graduate students that, "there are people that don't want me here either."

· After Eugenia Tichenor received complaints of an instructor refusing to assist african american students, she concluded that "there is adequate staff, and videos to assist the students." Thus, somehow indicating that it's alright for a Clemson instructor to treat certain students differently as long as the students had other methods of receiving their education. As long as the blacks and Hispanics have access to books, then they shouldn't complain about the white students receiving hands on assistance.

· Eugenia Tichenor includes her personal beliefs about the discrimination as factual findings. In 2006 she went so far as to include that a white instructor, "doesn't believe that t here is anything to do with race here". It's not clear how a white instructor's statements on their friend not being racist in anyway confirms that the accused wouldn't be racist.

A student only has 180 days to file a discrimination claim, and they need not wait a moment filing it within Clemson. . A discrimination claim can not be filed against any individual, as it would have to be filed against the school. Therefore, I don't believe that Clemson will ever find any of it's instructors guilty of anything.

If you noticed the very public racist parties in 2007 at Clemson, you should have noticed how quickly Clemson protected the people holding the party. Clemson concluded that it was free speech. Thus telling met that Clemson allow other students to taunt and mock other cultures, openly. That party is no different than crimes or offenses that any of student makes off campus.
