Scam and lies
Ordered $1, 649.00 dollars worth of Bedroom Furniture from efurnituredeals.com on 12/3/08. Was billed on my credit card immidiately and when I questioned this with customer service via phone the vendor said this was a 'standard practice' even though the item(s) were not in stock. Was then informed that the order could take up to six weeks to fullfill. Within a month I called them to inquire about the status of the order and was then told that it could take up to eight weeks from the date that I placed the order. Emailed them numerous times to follow up and never got a response. By 2/10/09 I sent one last email asking for a refund which was ignored. I called customer service on 2/11/09 and was told that the representative on the phone didn't have the 'authority' to issue a refund but that they would have a manager call me back. I wasn't going to wait for a phone call that was never going to happen.(They also had some lame excuse about my furniture order being delayed for some unknown reason that was not clear)--Yea right. I already filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and told my Credit Card company that I was contesting the charge since I never received the merchandise. efurnituredeals.com = SCAM!

never received furniture or refund
I order furniture on 1-31-09 received a confirmation email that my delivery would be 9-8wks. I never received the furniture and because of the eight week wait my issuing card service would not refund my money because the laspe in time ninety days. I filed a complaint with the BBB, Federal Trade Commision, and the Attorney's General Office of New Jersey. I suggest that everyone who has been ripped off by this company file a complaint with those agencies listed above. I still cannot believe that companies like this exist especially in this hard economic time. Everyone please come together and file complaints we will eventually get heard!

Total SCAM
On 12/10/2008, I placed an order online with efurnituredeals.com for a dresser manufactured by Pulaski Furniture Company. I was quoted an expected delivery within six to eight weeks and my credit card was immediately charged in the amount of $1569.00.

Repeated inquiries regarding the status of our order elicited responses pushing delivery further and further into the future. As our last message was never answered, and an attempt was made to log into the efurnituredeals.com website on 3/26/2009 which netted the response that it had been closed down.

This entire transaction appears to be fraudulent from beginning to end. Immediately after contacting my credit card issuer this morning, I placed a call to Pulaski Furniture Customer Service, (540) 980-7330, and learned that Pulaski has NEVER had any dealings with efurnituredeals.com and was dealing with a number of complaints similar to mine. (NOTE: Immediately following our order to EFD in December 2008, several fraudulent charges were place against our card. Thankfully, we were alerted by the our bank's fraud department of suspicious activity on our account and the fraudulant charges were reversed.)

I'm of the opinion that this was an on-going criminal enterprise and probably falls under federal statutes for prosecution in addition to violation of various state laws and all of us that were scammed by these criminals should send our documentation to the applicable authorities. At very least, send your info or contact the New Jersey Office of Consumer Affairs (Office of the Attorney General) Tel: (973) 273-8041

never rec'd furniture-card was charged
I ordered Aico dining room table & chairs & a curio cabinet on 2/13/09 my credit card was immediately charged for $4900.00. I was told that I would receive the merchandise within 6 to 8 weeks. I called customer service on 3/16/09 to check and see the status of my order. I was told to put in my email address and she gave me a password of 1234 furniture. I followed her instructions & I could not get to my order. I called her back and she said that she would reset the computer. I tried it again and I could not get to my account information. I called her back and she stated that they we working on the website and to wait a day or two and try it again. I waited 4 days and I tried it again and I still got an error. I logged in the website and I received this message: Due to current economic conditions Efurniutre.Deals.com has been forced to close down.. Please contact your credit card issuer. I have called my credit card and I have to wait and see if I will be refunded. I have always purchased furniture on line and I have never had this happen to me. ATTENTION EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOGUS COMPANY!!

Did not deliver/charged credit card
I placed an order from efurnituredeals.com on 1-23-09 for Universal Villa Cortina Dining furniture. I was told 6-8 weeks delivery. I spoke with different members of the sales team up to 1-20-09 in which my order was on schedule to be delivered the week of 1-23-09. On the 23rd I called the number to see which day my furniture was being delivered and no answer, so I went to web site and the message that they had closed due to the economy-Why didn't they tell me they were closing on the 20th? I also called Universal Furniture to see if my order had been placed and they told me they do not deal with internet companies. Now on 1-28-09 their message has changed from contact your credit card issuer to contact your credit card company to dispute charges. Whoever changed the message I hope your reading these complaints and Hope your conscience is driving you to do what is right!!!

failure to refund/deliver product
Ordered a Broyhill dining table in October 2008, and waited 4 weeks for a the phone call for delivery date, which I never received. Contacted efurnituredeals.com & spoke to Kathy 6 weeks after my order in late November 2008 & throughout the following months until mid-February 2009 when I finally cancelled the order. It is interesting how they stall you just long enough that the credit card companies will not help you either (up to 90 days, so my bank states). I was told they (efurniture) would return my money in 3-5 days. Then 1 week later, I called again & was told I would receive my money in 2-4 weeks, as a check needed to be mailed because it was an old account. Meanwhile, I had already contacted the www.bbb.org to complain. I have never received my money, nor have I received my furniture. I received a call from the NJ Attorney Generals Office 3 weeks later. I noticed on Monday 3/23/09 that they have conveniently closed down the efurnituredeals.com website. I have also contacted the Federal Trade Commission.
Hopefully, justice will prevail & we will find out who these crooks are & they will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law in every state that they have left victims.

company is a scam
Tried to check the status of my order and got the message that the company was "forced" to close. I filed a complaint with the BBB of NJ and got the address of 1500 Allaire Ave in Ocean, NJ. That address is 10 miles from me so I went there and it's a law firm. When I asked about the company I was told that this firm handled the corperation paperwork for eFurnitureDeals.com. The gentleman asked an associate to take my info and get efurniture on the phone or by email to find out why they were using his law firm's address. I wished them luck. My guess is that they have more info on these folks than just an email and phone number. They said that they would call me if they got a hold of eFurniture. The law firm phone is 732-663-1500. Maybe if they get a ton of calls from people who got ripped off by this scam they will move to do something about it. Sounds as if no one got what they ordered and no refunds.

scam, no delivery and no refund
Ordered a pulaski dining set for 1425.00. My card was immediately charged this amount, in addition to other fraudelent charges that started showing up on my account after placing an order with this so called company. Tried to cancel my order after reading all the bad reviews about them on the internet. They repeatedly hung up on me after I told them the problem, and that I wanted to cancel my order. Finally someone called "Al" spoke to me and said they would refund my money in 5-7 days. That has been almost 2 months ago. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Burea. They sent complaints to efurnituredeals on my behalf and reminders with no response. They had to close the case and turn it over to Consumer Affairs and an investigator due to their lack of response. They have a rating of F on BBB. They will not refund my money or respond to any complaints. The fraud department at my bank has now launched a fraud investigation against them. Please do not order from this site. They are fraudelent and will steal your money. They also hacked into my email account after I used it to correspond with them. Also, had to cancel my debit account, and open a new one. A legitimate company does not charge your account until the item has shipped. BEWARE.

never delivered
I ordered a dining set from them on 1/30/09. Was told it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. received an e-mail today (7 weeks later) saying that my order had been cancelled. When I called them to inquire why, they said that the item had been discontinued from the manufacturer. (Doesn't it seem like they should have known that before the day it was due to ship?) They said that a refund would take 3-5 days. After reading other complaints of almost identical experiences with them, I am skeptical that the refund will happen and have already contacted my credit card company. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was dumped into someone's voicemail. At best, this company is running a scam where they take your money for a product that they have no intention of delievering, and wait as long as they can before refunding so that they can earn interest on it for months. At worst, they don't refund the money and are out and out thieves.

Stole $1129, Didn't Deliver Product: DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
We ordered a Pulsaski bombe console from efurnituredeals.com on 12/1/2008. Here's one of the early emails:

Thank you for contacting customer service regarding your order. Pulaski orders take 6-8 weeks for processing before they are ready to be picked up.
Your order is expected to be picked up towards the beginning of February and transferred to our shipping facility for inspection. Once inspection is completed you will be contacted regarding delivery. From the time your order is picked up until you are contacted can take up to 10 business days. If you have any further questions regarding your order simply reply to this email.

After wondering why we haven't received the item, we've received 2 additional emails (only after we emailed them) indicating that the product still hasn't shipped and they don't know why or when it will.

Well, after receiving incredibly poor service from efurnituredeals.com rep Kathy Smith, who doesn't respond to email and is extremely rude on the phone (she hung up on me), I decided to call Pulaski to see if the order had been placed. After much trial and tribulation, it was learned that my order hasn't been placed with Pulaski and that eFurnituredeals.com ordered only 1 item from Pulaski in 2008 and it was in September. The person at Pulaski went on to inform me that her company knows about eFurnitureDeals and that they had an internal discussion about them today as well. She said she wasn't able to tell me what she learned but that I need to make arrangements to cancel my order immediately and try to get our money back.

DO NOT ORDER FROM EFURNITUREDEALS.COM else you'll have a similar experience.
