I am single, a freelancer, and in need of health insurance. I browsed ehealthinsurance website and found a company I could tolerate (insurance not the best, coverage at $320 per month). Pricing of health insurance in New York City is incredibly high. After filling out an application (big mistake) along with my credit card number etc. I had second thoughts and didn't complete the e-signature. They proceeded to send me an application and then hassle me several times a day with automated calls to please complete my application. I was about to throw the whole thing away without opening it but thought I should check into what was in this envelope. The answer is: everything including full credit card details (including security code). I am flabbergasted. The mail isn't secure. Banks never send out this information. If they ever do, they send out separate envelopes and I've never seen my full card number on anything from the bank. Thank goodness I ripped it all up before putting in the garbage. The ridiculous thing is THESE PEOPLE DON"T EVEN HAVE MY BUSINESS. I highly recommend people avoid this site.
