On March 3, 2008, I purchased one quesadilla with sour cream to go. It took about 15 minutes just to order because the woman at the desk did not speak much English. When I got my order, we quickly realized that it was actually the order of the person behind me. So we switched and I got out of there. Once home, I did not even have the sour cream that I was charged $1 for... The total price had been $10.67.
About 2 weeks later I got my bank statement and I had $172 less than I should have. It turned out that El Rodeo had charged me for $67.57!! $57 MORE THAN MY ORDER! Since I don't keep much cash in my bank, my $5 here and there charges combined with their $67 charge caused me to overdraft FIVE TIMES!
The manager kept telling me that she could not find the overage charge anywhere in their system, and so they could not refund my my money. The didn't even offer my a gift card or even a free drink for my trouble.
Even if she "couldn't find it", I had proof that $67 had gone from my account and into theirs.
Don't trust these people.
