My son has a ticket for 01H00 today to be transported by Eldos bus from Estcourt to Johannesburg. The pick up point is Midway approx 6 km from my home. We arrived at the pick up point approx 12h35(25 minutes before departure) and waited,
After waiting for more than 1, 5 hours we then asked the security at Midway if the bus is delayed. they informed us that a bus arrived at approx 12h15(45 minutes earlier than advertised), and waited about 5 minutes and then departed.
When we returned home we then saw a missed call on the mobile for 12h20.
We contacted that number and the person informed us that they were tring to contact us to inform us that they were at the pick up point.
At that point when the missed call was made, my son was in the bathroom and therefore missed that call.
My understanding is that the 01h00 pick up time should have been honoured, and only then departure can be made.
I am not happy with this situation, and request a full refund
because the company departed much earlier(by >half hour).
