I broke my leg 3 weeks ago. It is very unusual and nasty injury. My doctor called it particularly bad and rare case. So I lay in bed with my leg propped waiting for
a surgery. I will get metal plate and screws in order to set correctly my broken bones. I have been waiting 3 weeks already for the surgery. My leg is not healing, it is swollen and bruised with a possibility of bones infection.

And just yesterday an employee from NYSEG showed up on my property rung the bells, dragged me out of my bed demanding payment of $183.39 otherwise he will shut my electrical power.

My property consists of over three acres site with about 500 feet driveway leading to it from the road. I wonder if my house, is my castle, or is it a place where people could come in without invitation, search warrant or a court order? Drag me out of my bed, have me come down from my second floor on crotches to open the front door, with the possibility of even greater injury in case I would fall on the steps.

The NYSEG employe was accompanied by three Police Cars and I guess six Policeman. I was shocked by this occurrence. I could not believe my eyes. It was invasion of my property, of privacy, a very traumatic psychological experience, kind of terrorist action by NYSEG. I complained to the Police Officers that this Country became a country similar historically to Nazi Germany, a Police State. People could be drugged out of their beds with broken legs and possibly shot. One of The Police Officers replied that all this was not caused by them, that it was the NYSEG. I said that maybe it was the paranoid woman that phoned me earlier, who called the Police.

I am completely confused and I just wonder if NYSEG received the first grade training from the Taliban in dealing with its costumers.
