Problems with new appliances
Recently ordered ELECTROLUX - EW23CS70IS side by side refrigerator- as soon as it arrived noticed one of the drawers was not installed correctly- a repairman came out to fix it- was a problem with the wiring. Then a few weeks later the water dispenser was no longer working. By the time another repairman came out it was working again..they refused to replace it until it again stopped working which happened soon after. They have now replaced the door and for the time being the water is working again- for now. The repairman seemed to indicate this is a common problem. We also had probelms with the Electrolux microwave door not aligning properly. This was fixed too..but we are very concerned about so many early problems with our Electrolux appliances (thankfully the dishwasher (Bosch) and stove (Bertazzoni) were NOT Electrolux and they are working very well so far). We have not been very impressed with the official Electrolux repair people...Would not order an Electrolux appliance again!

Washer and Dryer
My husband bought an Electolux Washer and Dryer on 12/24/09. Since then we have had two service calls, one for the washer and one for the dryer. Well tonight I do a load of laundry only to find out there is no water coming into the machine, it will not spin, and it smells like the motor was burning up. Of course my warranty expired so tomorrow I will have to call and pay for a repairman to come out. NOT HAPPY and will NEVER buy their crappy products again. They should come with a lifetime warranty with the way these things break down. We paid over 2500 for the two and this is crazy!! If you want something good do yourself a favor and do not buy from this company!

Faulty DFF40
I am having the same kind of issue with the this DFF 40 refrigirator.. Ever since I have bought it, I am having the trouble and god knows how much money I have already spent on getting this PCB thing replaced every year. Ridiculou service / Pathetic management / Hopeless product and the kind of attitude the service guys show to us, its all the more frustrating. Moreover, the parts and service is so very expensive, I dont see a reason why an authorized service guy should be called. ELECTROLUX SUX. Any one in authority listening?

$4,000 Refrigerator, NO ICE
Purchased Electrolux french door refrigerator (Model #EW23BC70IS1) for about $4k on 7/10/2009. After less than 6 months...1st malfunction...freezer stopped working on 1/4/2010. 2nd time on 3/15/2010 and 3rd time on 12/27/2010. In between some ice and no ice, many flooding incidents and long periods without any ice at all.
We have been very patient hoping new parts would permanently resolve the ice maker problem...this did not happen.
After reading many other blogs and complaints regarding these refrigerators, there seem little point in a replacement as consumers still have the same complaints in 2011.
At this point we want a refund.

Repeated missed delivery dates for appliances and poor service to customers with in-warranty issues led us to drop the line. Buyer beware of Electrolux.

from the month of May 2010 servicing the fridge till now 18 oct 2010 is not working i have paid 6000 approx to them...
NO proper response...i have called them so many time...Very poor response

Product flaws
I purchased an Electrolux EI23CS55GS1 Side by Side refrigerator on 10/2008. Keep in mind that the manufacturers warranty is 1 year. I have 3 reasons why I do not recommend that you waste your money on this product. First, there seems to be issues with the temperature on the refigeration side because milk or any other product that contains cream spoils quickly if it is placed on the top shelf. Although the front panel indicates 37 degrees fahrenheit, Ice seems to build on the internal side of the refigerator. If the milk products are placed on lower shelves, the milk products last slightly longer. Second, the refrigerator has 3 crispers which tend to freeze any contents that are placed in them, the middle crisper is the worst. Vegetables and fruit last approximately 2 days. On 6/2009, the front panel was replaced because of a malfunction that caused the touch panel to stop working (4 months left on manufacturers warranty). On 10/2010, the water dispenser stop working (No longer under waaranty). Electolux customer service was a total waste and they do not seem to understand or care about their product flaws.

Not even 3 years are completed since purchase of the fridge and we have to fill gas every year
