ice maker freezes
I purchased 5 electrolux appliances less than two years ago. The refrigerator has ice freezing on the ice maker and after it builds up the ice maker will not dispense ice. The microwave light bulb burned out over a year ago, and requires a service man to install the new bulb. Thus a new light bulb will cost no less than $75. I am a home economics teacher who has dealt with all brands of applicances in my 26 year career. I have always had to buy applicances that were in the mid range of cost, but thought these may be my last major appliance purchases so I want the best I can afford. I have now found that the old adage "you get what you pay for" certainly does not apply to electrolux appliances.

Not getting Spares
We are having an Electrolux refrigerator Model No 375 FF.We purchased in Bangalore.The middle bottle rack was broken.We have contacted your service centre several times for getting a spare bottle rack but invain.We cannot change the refrigerator for the sake of bottle rack.Kindly help us in this regard.

NON WORKING POOR SERVICE
I have Purchased a ELECTROLUX REFRIGERATOR in August 2005 MODEL DFF44, 445 LTRS, But from the first month the refrigerator has not working properly and the same time I made complaint to the service center, But they have not clear the problem due to non availibility of PCB etc. We again complaint them in JULY 2006 but still they are not solve the cooling problem and they give me in writing the non availibility of PCB & HEATER COIL . Iam several time complaining to the company personals but every time they commited me to solve the problem but still the problem is not solved. Now I finally decided to go for consumer court in near future for this type of cheating by the reputed company.

NOT SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT
NOT AT ALL SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT, WITHIN A 2 YEARS OF PURCHASE OF ELECTROLUX REFRIGERATOR, THE TIMER STOPPED WORKING AND CONTACTED SERVICE CENTRE AND I WAS ASKED TO PAY THE CHARGES FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE TIMER & SERVICE CHGS. I PAID THE SAME AND GOT IT REPAIRED. THEN AGAIN AFTER 5 MONTHS THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURED AND AGAIN I WAS ASKED TO PAY THE AMOUNT AS SEERVICE CHGS & PARTS (TIMER) REPLACEMENT CHGS AND I WAS TOLD THAT THE GUARANTEE OF THE SAME IS JUST 3 MONTHS, WHICH IS NOT AT ALL ACCEPTABLE TO ME AND AGAIN NOW ON 23.04.08 IS CREATING SAME PROBLEM (MY REFRIGERATOR IS NOT COOLING). I DON'T UNDERSTAND, HOW COME THE PRODUCT OF SUCH A REPUTED INTERNATIONAL COMPANY'S PRODUCT GETS DEFECTED WITHIN SUCH A SHORT TIME & AND THEN ASKED TO PAY AGAIN & AGAIN AND THE LESSON OF GUARANTEE IS TAUGHT TO THE CUSTOMER. IT IS REALLY DISGUSTING AND NOT ACCEPTABLE & I WISH TO THROW IT FROM THE TOP FLOOR. AS ON TRYING CONTACTING THE CONCERN PERSON OF ELECTROLUX SERVICE CENTRE, I WAS SAID THAT THEY ARE HELPLESS AND DON'T CARE IF WE COMPLAINT TO THE COMPANY.

Pathetic customer service associates and Worst Service
We had purchased refridgerator from this company second time cuz we wre quite happy with the product. How I wish we knew what kind of service they provide after their product is sold. Our compressor is not working and its since last two months we have issued a complaint number J 765. This complaint was raised on 21/10/07. Such a shame that till now this issue is not resolved. Mr Padmakar or mr prabhakar who is looking after this matter is telling me since last two months that he is not getting any compressor from the company. Besides, he is not ready to take the onus of the same. He had the wits to tell me that its company fault not my fault. I asked him are you working as a free lancer or for the company. He stated that 'Madam now you do what you want, I cannot help you?'. Eventually he asked me for one more day and committed that on 1st Jan it would be done. Till today its not done and now he is not even picking up the call. Is this the kind of service such company proivde being international brand. Nobody associated with this company, like their dealer, their ASC and the company itself is not ready to take the onus, so we customers are actually left nowhere to go!
Enough of this crap. Mr Padmakar, who doesnt even have the courtsey to answer the call and had the guts to disconnect my call. His assistant Miss meenaxi is tellin me, Sir is very busy he cannot speak to you, but he called me and told me to pass on this mesage to you that compressor is still not come from the company and we canot gurantee anything as of now. I asked him, how come he is not tellin me directly, she stated Sir is lil busy with his work and cant attend your call. I wondered thruout the day, sir is so busy that he doesnt have the time to attend my call but he has the time to call back his asst and let her kne the status. Is this the type of courtsey your agents provide. Is this the way to deal with the customer. I am in the customer service industry since last five days and even sometime we are not able to help customers immediatley, but we never worked like Mr Padmakar or Prrabhakar. Does he even have the understanding ot sense that what kind of negativity he is accumulating by doing such acts.
What a disappiontment? Being such a international brand such kind of service is provided by them.

Refridgerator
I have been waiting over a month to get a new refrigerator and all I ever hear is 72 hours. I am personal getting tired of the run around. I think they have the worst customer service ever and are no help at all. I think they should have to pay me for my food spoilage and all the fast food we have to buy. They suck I truly recommend to NEVER BY FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS...
