Electronic Arts Reviews

No Support
It is very obvious to me that Electronic Arts has there support links set up to fail. I can never get to the support page. I have had a EA account for years & have never been able to contact them. When I log in to the support page it tells me I haven't entered the proper info. or it just keeps flipping back to the log in page or I get a "Can't Connect" page. I have an excellent connection & my service works fine everywhere else. I believe EA just doesn't want any complaints.

I don't know if this is the correct service to complain about this. I was looking for some kind of Internet Ombudsman that I thought would be the correct service.

Unauthorized billing
Since about 8 years I play the 'free games' at Pogo (aol) but a couple of days ago I decided to become a Member! The first thing that I thought it's a little bit 'odd' was that if you pay with PayPal you have to pay 10 Dollars more! Nevertheless - I know PayPal and usually they help you if something goes wrong - I used PayPal paid the 39.99 and started to play! A few hours later I felt that this is to much money and I canceled the Membership! They tell you that you can cancel at any time and I thought that they send me the Money back as soon as the cancellation went trough! After that as I didn't get the Money I tried to go back online but my account was canceled! They didn't reimbursed me the 39.99 neither can I log on and play the Games that I paid for!

I truly think something should be done especially with so called 'Companies' like this, Money is tight for a lot of people and they just make fun of 'Idiots' like I am! I demand that they pay everybody's Money back and that the State shots them down!

Fraud and cheating!
This game, NHL2008, is a complete rip off. EASports' website advertises all these large changes in store for this year's version, however they don't mention that the changes are only in console versions of the game. The PC version remains almost the exact same as NHL2007 with (slightly) updated rosters. Being swayed by hype of 'revolutionary' new gaming concepts that make NHL2008 "the most realistic hockey experience ever" (IGN) I purchased the game, took it home, and installed it. I played a few games and found that the graphics, sound, and rosters were exactly the same as last year (rosters as per latest downloadable patch). A friend purchased the same game for PS3 and invited me over to play it with him. Playing the PS3 version I found that the screens, graphics, controls, rosters, dynasty mode, create-a-player, game modes, and even the jerseys worn by the teams (updated for the NHL's new-look jerseys) were different from the PC version I had just purchased that same day. I have spent some of today looking around EA's website for an email to complain to, but to no avail... there is NO contact information unless I am a member of the press. I looked on their downloads page to see if there was any downloadable content to "de-crap-ify" my version, but the latest download for an NHL game was for NHL 2006... I then played a couple more games to see if I was just being sensitive and the same AI flaws (this same tough new AI advertised on the website) as NHL07 were hugely apparent. Don't buy this for PC, under any circumstances...
