Electronica Direct is by far the worst seller that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with on Amazon.com. I was mislead by their description of the product (they have since pulled the advertisement, but I copied the website before they removed it.) I was lied to, they told me in an email that the Blu-Ray “is compatible with Region A and Region B. Region C is untested.” Which it is not! I have asked for a replacement disk twice and a return mailer three times and have been deflected from a straight answer each time. I have finally given up and gone to Amazon directly for a refund. I haven’t got a clue why they are rated so high on Amazon and so low every place else on the net. They must have their employees writing reviews for them. If you see a “Reseller Reply” from Electronica Direct after this post and I haven’t updated my post they are probably lying about it Amazon.com were the ones that made it right after fighting with Electronica Direct" I have documentation to back up everything in this post. NEVER AGAIN FROM ELECTRONICA DIRECT!

I ordered a Samsung SH-S222L/BEBS Internal Half Height Super multi PATA 22X Light Scribe DVD writer drive from Electronica Direct through Amazon.com on Feb 26, 2010. The item arrived March 2, one day after the promised shipping date of March 1. I opened the package and inside was the DVD drive, a setup DVD and nothing else-LITERALLY . It did not contain an instruction manual, accessories, not even an invoice/return form telling me who sent it. I went on amazon's website which instructed me to resolve this with E.D. Long story short. I sent emails, talked to their customer rep and was told that's the way they receive it from the manufacturer and provided a link to Lightscribes website which is a tutorial site that sells lightscribe software also. If that is the case they should have posted that info on Amazon and give options to obtain the missing items. How could any company not send you an invoice or anything with their name on it, I still do not know who it came from? As of this writting I have filed a complaint with Amazon and they are currently pursuing it.
Past customers of Electronica Direct gave them a 5 out of 5 star rating which in addition to a good price made me buy from them. i've just finished emailing E.D. with the above info urging them to honor the customer service which I'm sure led to Amazon bringing them on board as one of it's merchants.
I will post the response from E.D. when I receive it.
