I contracted with Elite Movers in Las Vegas, Nevada to move my household goods from California to Colorado. I was told they would deliver to my address in Colorado within ten days of a date that I chose.

I am shocked, dismayed, and frustrated by the rude behavior I have been subjected to the many times that I have called Elite Movers to learn the status of my shipment which was late being delivered. I have been hung up on by the salesman and, in my opinion, received a veiled threat from his supervisor who suggested it was possible that the shipment could take 100 days beyond my target date.

I was in a rental home with no bed or furniture or clothing and was desperate to get my shipment since it also contained equipment that I use in my business.

When they were finally ready to ship my belongings, they wanted us to fax them a credit card and a driver’s license copy which we refused to do given all the I.D. thefts in the news. The Elite Mover representative was very patronizing in insisting this was their company policy. They would not take a cashier’s check from my bank and finally demanded cash upon delivery.

My shipment was not delivered in the ten day interval that I was told. The day that it was to be delivered, the driver called with a time estimate and threatened to charge me for any additional time that he had to wait for us to pay him in cash.
