The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall in June 2005 for condensor units blowing out as fire hazards. No one from Sears notified me of this, even though the refrigerator was registered and under warranty. Sears performed other repairs 2006-2007 and didn't mention the recall. Sure enough, the condensor fan just blew and almost started a fire ~ and now Sears won't come out to repair it for 8 days!!!
