I received a call by a nice sales rep who said he could help increase our exposure on Google and Yahoo because of a special relationship his company had with Google and other web browsers. Being a bit naive in both business and the Internet, it sounded great to me. So we decided to try it. We paid the upfront cost of $149, including the fee for the first month. He said it would take a couple of weeks for it to be in place, and so we waited. Then our business to a down turn, and we decided to minimize our expenses. So I tried to call the sales rep, which is what he told me to do if we ever wanted to cancel. I left several messages asking to have our account cancelled. He never returned my phone call. Then we were charged another month's fee, so I tried calling several times a day until I finally reached him. He said he would talk with Customer Service, then he told me they would call me back in the next 20 minutes. They never called. He sent me an email with the "customer service" email address, which turned out to be a bogus email, as an error message was returned immediately. I emailed him back telling him the problem. I never heard from him again. So I had to cancel my credit card they were using to process my payments because I was unwilling to pay any more money to the company. Then, almost a month later, I received a call from another representative from the company telling me there was a problem with my payment. I told him what was going on and he kept insisting that my account was not cancelled with the "Customer Service" department, and I owed another month's payment. Then he informed me that he would have to report me to a collection agency because that is what he "had to do." I kept telling him how many times I had tried to contact the customer service center and that they would not answer or return my calls. He did not care. He only wanted more money. In the mean time, I never saw our ad appear on Google or Yahoo, no matter how many times I would access their web pages in a day. After my first problem in March, I started to do more research about the company. After doing the research and from my own experience, I believe the who company fundamentally is a scam. Apparently, they cannot do anything more that what anyone can do to get their ads on the Internet. And the only thing they seem to care about is the amount of money they can get out of you.
Buyer Beware!
