The owner, one Guy Touitou, hired me from GURU.com puporting to own a company called ELTREXS. He required web content writing services, for which I provide at 30 dollars per page. He received 2 pages and complained that I required payment too quickly. I explained the nature of the writing industry is that payment is rendenred upon receipt of any materials and it was posted in my bid to him, under PAYMENT TERMS. To this date he is avoiding my call and emails, and having researched his background, he is not an owner of EXLTREX, but probably an employee.

More and more, I am seeing Employers through the GURU.com organization who claim to be reputable but are NOT.

My most recent employer before Guy Touitou, was a MARSHALL KANNER, reporting to be a multi-millionaire in search of a new online business, requiring we writing services.

Marhsall Kanner was in prison in Miami Beach, making these calls to my home, pretending to be this incredible entrepreneur. Whe I notified my employer, my quality score was dinged simply for using up their customer service forms to make notification of a very bad man, who will now likely have months added onto his prison sentence.

Why are decent hardworking people suffering from illegal often disgusting persons impersonating the word Employer in the U.S. and where is the protection that should be afforded to writers under the copyright infringement laws. I am now forced to spend my own money to ensure these people never circumvent the laws of the U.S. again.

But you know, if any criminal would ever not want to run into the one person who would run them to ground, it would be yours truely, so if you work for GURU and have a problem if unscrupulous employers, just email me at [email protected]. I think I just found a new line of business - if I can get your employer to pay your fees or put them publicly to shame, how much would you pay for that service?
