My friend Clement moved to CA and wanted me to mail his text books to CA. He just graduated from college and had many text books that he was not able to carry with him on the plane. I mailed his books but they never reached him. We got the mailing, return and postage labels from the box with a note saying to send a description or titles of books so that they may be able to be searched for. We never heard back from anyone and still have no clue what happened to the books. We are very disappointed in this matter. The books that are in question are books purchased by my friend that were expensive. He will be going to school to get his PHD and those were text books that were needed to further his education. Of course there was no insurance for these books...we trusted in the postal service to get the job done. Nothing has been done in this matter and it makes me mad that the US postal service is not willing to make this right because there was no insurance purchased. They will give us back the postage of about $15 but the books were worth a few hundred dollars that my friend worked and saved hard to purchase. Now I am sure none of this matters to you and I probably won't hear from you but I had to make my complaint and say again how very upset and disappointed I am in a system that I trusted to deliver the goods sent with no problem.
