Embassy United States of America Reviews

Nitin Yasharth June 7, 2011
Denial of visa
That the complainant is the District Governor Elect of Lions Clubs International District 321E, India. That the complainant begs to submit as follows:
1. The Complainant was firstly interviewed for Non-immigrant visa on 19thApril2011 along with his wife Nidhi Singh and daughter Varenya Yasharth 2yrs old.
2. The embassy wrongfully denied the U.S. Visa on the ground that the applicant had submitted he had to undergo an oath ceremony during the International Convention to be staged at Seattle July 4th-8th 2011.
3. That on 7th June 2011 the complainant was again interviewed for the same visa, this time only with his wife, in order to provide surety that his daughter would stay back, thus ensuring his return after the convention getting over. A slight country-side visit programme was also appended to the itinerary along with the close friends and co-District Governors of the same Multiple District of the complainant.
4. The embassy again flimsily rejected the visa on the plea that it is not pertinent for District Governors to attend the District Governors Elect Seminar and The International Convention, although the complainant had shown sufficient proofs that the visit of The D.G. and the spouse is sponsored by Lions Clubs International and the oath ceremony and training are essential parts of D.G. Elect Seminar and International Convention.
5. The attitude of the interviewers on both the occasions i.e. on 19th April2011 and 7thJune2011 was absolutely non-cooperative in regard to the stature of the complainant as a renowned social servant in the area where he officiates. To become a District Governor, one has to go a rigorous electoral process outside his home territory usually and election budget ranging between 12.25lakhs to 25lakhs. That too funded by the prominent members of the society and Lions Clubs International.
6.The Lions Clubs International is the largest service organization in the world, officiating in 206 countries, majorly serving the blind and people with other aliments having more than 45000 clubs and 13.5lakhs members world-over.
7. To become a District Governor, it takes not less than 8-9 yrs of lionism and sometimes even upto 20-25yrs of lionism wherein he/she has to undergo some strict years of service and take a lot of time as sacrifice from his/her family as sacrifice for lesser privileged people.
8. That this attitude of the embassy cannot be held viable on any accord that the willful denial of the visa of the complainant on such flimsy and concocted grounds, just to deny him to see the sun of his success rise high in the afternoon sky of lionism at the Seattle Convention. The irony being the headquarters of such a privileged and esteemed organization being situated at Oak Brook, Illinois, U.S.A. and the Americans themselves being such ignorant of the beautiful work this organization is putting up world-over as an epitome of service and fellowship (fraternity)

Therefore, the complainant is highly aggrieved and destroyed by the conduct of the United States Embassy and their interviewers and demand appropriate justice at the hands of the Honorable External Affairs Ministry Govt. of India.

Lion Nitin Yasharth (complainant)
District Governor Elect District 321E, India
Lions Clubs International.
