I took advantage of Internet offer for expensive perfume for the price of shipping and a dollar. The perfume arrived, and I was impressed with the bottle but did not care for the fragrance. At first I planned to keep it because the bottle was so unusual. I later had the same offer on the Internet but I did not order. I read the small print and learned I would be charged the price of the perfume within a month if not returned.
I took the packaged perfume to the post office that day, insured it for $200, paid for delivery confirmation, and assumed I was finished. The following month a charge of $95 appeared on my credit card for the perfume. I have all paperwork to prove it was returned, but I have never received a refund!
I would like this matter to be reported to the Attorney General of California.
