I called emerson to registrar my microwave in case anything happens since this one is replacing one that was broken and no longer cover under the agreement so being extra careful this time. Well no story short I was told I couldnot do it hold on to receipt which alway fade after a couple of weeks, well I guess that's the way wiggling out of replacing there product GOOD ONE EMERSON I will never buy another emerson product ever and tell all my friends and their friends also I work in the retail industry I will tell my customer to stay away from that product unless they change their practice.

Bought an Emerson HD TV on Black Friday of 2008 and 8 and it just died on 6/19/2009. They are thelling me there is only a 90 day warrany on that type of problem and I have to send them the moey to fix the TV and the shipping?????? I am feelin VERY ripped off!!! TV model # BLC320EM9

I bought an Emerson brand microwave (model #MW8119SB) in June of 2008. It has worked perfectly until a few nights ago when my husband was heating a baby bottle full of water. He heard a loud pop sound...and then nothing. No time on the clock, no power. He tried moving it to another outlet, thinking it may be the outlet, or GFI or something else. Still nothing.

I contacted Emerson, only to be told that they wold be happy to replace it, but I would have to pay to ship several items from the broken unit, including the heavy glass plate inside. AND I would have to pay for them to ship me a new microwave. Yes, that's right, I have to pay the shipping on the replacement. I realize they do this so that people will say, crpa, I can buy a new one from Walmart for that much money! In all it would cost me about $40 in shipping, at least. And then they will ship me the same model...so that in 6 months I will have to do this all over again. Stay away from Emerson!! Needless to say, I filed a complaint with the BBB!!
