overcharging
Received my order in a timely fashion. No paperwork!!! that should have been a red flag. Received my credit card statement. Whoa !!! I was charged $106.65 for what ???? 19.99 for cat boards (BOGO)plus 7.95 shipping and additonal 7.95 for Free?? BOGO plus replacement boards does not equal $106.65.
I will get in contact with company as soon as they open on Jan, 4, 2010 as my cat is older and not interested in product AND the overcharging as I am returning them. Will find out how to report them to authorities for overcharging.

over charged me
I ordered 2 emery cat boards (buy one get one free. Just pay postage for free one)
They were 19.95 each plus 795 for postage. So if you got one free that would be 19.95 + 2 shipping of 7.95 = 35.85. Then I orded a cat book 9.95 no postage. That should all come to 45.80. They took out 81.65. out of my account. How can I get this back. I don't even want them now. When I get them, and if I send them back I will have lost 31.80. on postage, because they won't give that back. It will probably take months to put the money back in my account if they ever do put it back. These people need to be put out of business. There are a lot of complaints on the internet about this company for over charging them. I wish I had serched the internet first. They were on tv advertising this so I thought it would be ok.

Overcharges and dishonest billing
I, too, found the whole ordering process for the Emery Cat Board to be confusing and misleading. I was very interested in trying this product so I clicked on the 'order' button. I ordered one, but was never informed about whether the "buy one, get one free" was included in this. The next screen took me to a screen that offered some more 'goodies' for $7.95 (and appeared to include the BOGO offer) so I said 'ok'. There was never a chance to review my order. At the end of it, I saw that I was charged $66.70. Of that total, $31+ was for the product, the rest for shipping, which seemed excessive and outrageous...especially since the product itself seems to be fairly light...probably 2 lbs or less.
I called the company to complain and, to be honest, they were very gracious. Interestingly, they held my order (didn't ship it) for the 2 days it took me to contact them (from the time I placed the order until I got in touch with them). I wondered if this reaction on their part was normal so I asked the person I talked to whether they had been receiving a lot of complaints. She said that they always took care of the customer service needs so, no, there were no complaints.
I informed the person I was talking to that I found the process to be confusing and, truthfully, dishonest. I said that I would be reporting them to the BBB and the attorney general of my state. She immediately offered me $10 off the already reduced fee of $35.85 ($19.95 BOGO price plus $15.90 shipping). It almost seemed as though she was used to hearing these kinds of complaints about the ordering process. I eventually agreed to the $25.85 price.
Given that I thought the price would be $19.95 plus shipping, $25.85 seemed reasonable. It's unfortunate because I think the product is probably a good one. The processing of the orders, however, leaves a lot to be desired.
