Double charged for shipping
Ok here is an update. Read my previous posts to see the the entire drama. But in a nutshell when I saw I was billed for shipping on 2 I called and told them I wanted to cancel the order because they were sending me 2 emery cats. They said they would send me one.

Today I did receive the EmeryCat and there are 2 in the box anyway. I checked my credit card bill online they did cancel the first order and only charged me for one EmeryCat and shipping for one at 7.95, total $27.90.

I called EmeryCat and told them they sent me 2 and only charged me for one (I'm honest what can I say, I treat people the way I want to be treated), the operator said to keep it or donate it to a shelter.
A nice ending to the story wouldn't you say?

PS: The cats seem to like it, they are going nuts over it!

Deceptive SSL claims/False advertising/TOS Violations
If you notice on the order form at the top they clam the SSL Cert is from Comodo which is suppose to have a javascript link to verify the site but that is a fake logo because the SSL cert is really from "The USERTRUST Network, AKA www.usertrust.com" and it is a cross scripting order form using parts of https://www.emerycat.com and parts from https://wac.edgecastcdn.net which has a SSL cert from "DigiCert Inc, AKA Entrust.net SSL" non of these sites uses a Comodo SSL cert at all and violates the Comodo Group TOS for all logo's.

There is a PCI compliant logo that doesn't have a company seal which is required by the VISA PCI Group nor is there a link to verify the PCI status which is also required by the PCI Standards TOS.

Just that alone is enough invalidate the connection and enough evidence they are using illegal tactics to steal money from customers.

The order form is created using a well known SSL security bug in the Ajax cross-scripting code.

fraudulent shipping charges
TV and website advertisement clearly state "$7.95 shipping & handling" per order. Buy second one, get free just pay additional shipping & handling. So, if you buy 2 items, that should be $7.95 x 2 = $15.90 total shipping & handling. But my confirm shows shipping and handling of $31.80, which is twice what it should have been.

Ordered on a Saturday, so have to wait till Monday to call customer service and demand cancellation of order. Really, this is unnecessary, and false/milsleading advertising like this should be severely punished by law.
