EMI Encore Marketing. They must know that they are screwing people, because when I called and asked why they were charging my account and how they got access to it, you get this sweet woman. You know real soft voice. I honestly don't think she could scream if a mouse or spider ran out of somewhere to scare her. N E Ways.
I bought a product via the telephone and that is how they got my information. Even though I kept telling the sales guy that I didn't want anything else, whether it was free of not. He said I had to enter the last four of my credit card and we would be finished. So, when I spoke to Rose with EMI Encore Marketing she told me that I authorized the transaction when I entered my last four of my card number during that call with the first sales guy. I politely told her that I did not authorize anything with EMI and that if I am charged the current pending transaction that I would gladly take that company and any other company to court for fraud and/or theft, and I would live a rich and fat life off of the winnings.
If you have purchased anything on the phone and they have offered anything to you for free, I would call these numbers just to be sure that you are not getting any reoccurring billing from any of them. One dollar is not much, but what if you had 2500 people giving you one dollar every month. Now do that on a much bigger scale, like let’s say 1, 000, 000 people. These companies track you by telephone number, last name, address and zip code. That is the most common information that we all give out like it's no big deal. They will ask you for your email address. Tell them NO. And always ask for a cancelation confirmation number. If you give them your telephone number, name, and address, and they can’t find you in their system----HANG UP. It’s a good thing.
