I booked a ticket from EMIRATE airways office [DOHA/QATAR] it takes place on first week of April 2009 payed on 14 April 2009 DESTINATION DOHA/CAIRO via DUBAI on 30 April 2009 return from Cairo to Doha via Dubai on 22 MAY 2009 I payed [1860 qatary rayal]
This is not my first time to travel same way on same airline
Igot the information that my lagadge wght. became 30 kg. each extra kg the charge will be 39Q/R this take place during the payement in Emirate DOHA office
30 of April My husband drop me to DOha airport and leaft me in order to reach his work at 7:30hr AM travelling procedure take place
When I reach whgt counter the staff informing me that my over whgt is 19 kg.
and i should pay 2110Q/R Iwas shoked how it could be [If 19kgtime 39Q/R cnt be 2110Q/R
The lady in that counter informe me that over whgt is 110Q/R not 39 as they told in the office and she is not responsible about wrong information given to me???????
Itwas avery bad situation for me never i face it befor as i am travelling since 1988.
MY MAIN QUESTION HOW IT COMES TO GET SUCH GREAT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OFFICE & COUNTER INFORMATION [39Q/R TO 110Q/R ?
WHY NO CORRECT INFORMATION GIVEN DURING BOOCKING &PAYING DOCUMENTED ON TICKET OR IN THE OFFICE. ?
HOW IT COMES NO BODY RESPONSIBLE REGARDING WRONG INFORMATION?
IT is unclear situation for me uptill now as i feelt that EMIRATE AIRLINE put me in a very bad situation just befor travelling althoug they have different official & respectable ways to inform their customers regarding any changes!!!

This situation take place on 30 of April 2009 at 8:30 AM at DOHA airport
Take off as per ticket is 9:45 Flight:EK 0842
I am DIABETIC patient at that time my blood sugar shutt up Itry to control myself in order not to spoil my trip.
