missing luggage
Waiting 8 months for incompetent staff at Emirates Johannesburg to deal with a missing wheelchair & a claim against them. Amount has been settled & approved by Dubai office months ago but we are still waiting.
The frustration of dealing with Henrietta Hoff, Milena Sachs & Valet Powells is unbelievable. Each one passes the query from one to another & now the accounts lady is sick - so payment cannot be made & Emirates has ground to a halt. If anyone of authorirt is looking at this message - please review the claim 42468. We are awaiting eagerly for a positive response here.

skywards milles
am very dissapointed with the servises offered by emirates.first of all it concern my skywards milles i travel by emirates from mauritius to dubai then to guangzhou so that i can get my milles to upgrade to silver card.but now that they are telling me that it was a promotional price so i can get only half of my points it's very dissappointing i made all this round to go guangzhou instead of travelling by air mauritius direct to there to get my milles.the second complaint if about the staff in dubai airport, they charged me DHM1060 for 2 person for changing my return date without informing me.when already board the flight that i notice my credit card bill.as my best khowledge here in mauritius they charge only RS1500 for changing date, i have friends who paid only RS700 IN DUBAI TO CHANGE THEIR DATE but i would lie to khow why me i paid a so expensive as the flight was not full.my ticket number is 1762133338476 and 1762133338477.hope my complaint will be taken into consideration and get a reply from you sooner as possible.

double customs paid
I bought few articles from emirates and had already paid the customs via my credit card and still they took customs again via my courier to release my goods... where should i complian to get my customs back...

POOR FLIGHT
Dear Customer Affairs,


I flew from Dubai to Glasgow on flight EK27 on Thursday 23rd June at 7.50am. Seat 44k.
Once I had boarded this flight I noticed that the tv, window and tray table at my seat was covered in a brwon sticky substance, and there was bits of food left down the side of the seat. I callled for a flight attendant, Patricia and explained to her that the seat was dirty and that there was a smell and I wasn't prepared to touch the screen. She then handed me an air freshener...and walked away.

I then asked Patricia if we could possibly be moved to a clean seat...or have the seat I was sat in cleaned. She went away and came back with the only option of moving to a seat in the centre of the plane, in the middle row. The reason I had chosen the seats we had is because I am 6ft tall and it's more comfortable for me to have a window or aisle seat...also, my friend and I did not wish to be separated...otherwise we wouldn't have bothered to select seats online.

Paticia asked ''what do you want me to do?'' I replied that I would like someone to clean my seat! to which she then said that it was NOT her job to clean the aircraft.
She then came back with a plastic glove and a hot cloth for ME to clean it myself.

I did not pay over £700 to clean your aircraft.

Regardless if it is in her job description to clean, the flight attendant is responsible for the comfort of the passenger. After coming from Manila to Dubai 2 hours previous to this encounter I was not best pleased, considering that Dubai Airport is the hub of emirates I would expect all aircraft to leave there in perfect condition.
The attitude of the flight attendant was not what I would normally expect from Emirates and there were other staff on board who seemed much more friendly and eager to help the passenger.

The rest of my flight was somewhat uncomfortable as I did not feel like I was sitting on a clean seat and the tv screen was smeared with something sticky that wouldn't come off.

This is not the first time I had flown emirates and in the past I have been very impressed by the airline, this time I was very disappointed.

I would suggest as a Skywards member I should be offered some compensation or credit on this occaision as I know I will be flying Emirates again.

Missing Baggage............
I travelled from Trivandrum to Dubai on 19th Jun 2011 through Emirates ( EK 0523) after that I conected from Duai to Dijibouti on Fly Dubai (FZ 0601) same day. But I missed one of my baggage, after that I send the complaint to Emirates and Fly Dubai. But still they can't retrive my baggage or giving any rite information to me. What I need to do next, please give a good reply.

Sub : Misbehaviour of flight Crew Mr. Tiho (ID No 398866) reluctance to serve food on flight to passenger


Respected Sir,

I request you most earnestly and honorably to take note about the unwanted behavior of your Cabin Crew on Flight No. EK 532 dated 06.06.2011 from Dubai (DXB – CHN) to Cochin International Airport.

I was travelling on the flight to Cochin which look off from Dubai Airport behind scheduled time at around 9.35 pm. My Seat No. 14B. Mr. Tiho ID No. 398866 serving on the flight was refused to serve food to me even after requesting him to do so. He serves other passengers but did not take heed to my request. After 20 minute he serve me a plate of Biriyani. But on requesting him to give me a second serve of Biriyani Mr.Tiho (No. 398866) started asking me and rude questions such as :- I had a big stomach etc. and he refused to serve any second helping of Biriyani.

Instead of serving me a passenger on your flight or trying to convince me politely, he was making rude remarks and trying to outsmart and be little me infront of all the other passenger’s such rude ‘Behaviour’ is not expected from the Cabin Crew of an Airline with a good reputation such that of Emirates Airlines.

Please kindly restrain such rude Cabin Crew like Mr. TIHO No. 398866 from misbehaving with passenger’s like me and do kindly train them to be polite and well behaved and service minded.

Hope you will restrain such Cabin Crew from such rude behavior and oblige by taking action.

the Flight attendants, steward staff
I was travelling, as usual, from Newcastle to Dubai in April 2011

During the journey, I requested something from the Duty free Sale, and because of some delay I had to ask, politely, the Flight attendants, steward, to tell the Duty free seller to speed up my request. But Unfortunately, and steward guy, shouted at me !!
He also came to me and HIT me on my shoulders, in front of all passengers as well as the Duty Free Seller !!!

It is nearly 2 months since I have coplained and I have been Ignored by the Emirates Airlines authority, Dr. Alkaldi

visa requirement
To whom it may concern l board a flight from london heathrow on the 17th of may 2011 my passport was checked buy one of the emirates staff and l was not told that l require a visa to travel to johannesburg when l get to dubai that's when l was told l require a visa and l came back on the 18th and l was told that l cannot get my refund back and l want my refund l think they where not supporse to let me in the flight to dubai without a visa or if you can issue me other ticket or l dont know what you can do for me my ticket no 1765181319593 emirates confirmation no is bns6w6 looking forward to hearing from you soon thank you

excellent service
I would like to congratulate Emirates on their excellent serice from Mr Sandeep Bhaskar Natu, he went far beyond his role to make sure my son and I got our flight to dubai to see my husband for his 50th. I can not praise this service from Emirates enough. Well done to them and especially Mr Natu.

inflight entertainment
while flyin from singapore to dubai with Emirates, my inflight entertainment system was not workin...this caused me many problems as i am a very nervous flyer, the entertainment system is the one thing that helps me to relax a little and not be to anxious about the long flight ahead!when makin cabin crew aware of my problem, i was disgustingly ignored and was told on three occassions that they would see what they could do, but yet for the first two hours into the flight, not one of the three members of cabin crew did anything to reassure me that they had`nt forgotten about me and my problem with my entertainment system!after three hours had passed, i was extremely nervous, anxious and very upset that no-one had come to me, not even a single apology...as i walked around the plane, to give my legs exercise, and to minimise my bordem and disapointment in cabin crew, i started to cry and felt lost!then a member of cabin crew approached me and ask`d me if there was anything he could do for me, i explained my problems too him and he also said i will see what i can do, i had heard that on three occassions, what differance was this occasion going to make, i thought to myself.After ten minutes the male crew member returned with a passenger feedback form, and a complimentary bottle ov champagne.this didnt help my nervousness or anxiosness, but the fact that finally a crew member listened and did try to do something for me helped hugely.i am due to fly out to singapore again in september to visit my sister once again, im afraid after my experiance with cabin crew and the entertainment system i am goin to look into other flight companies, which is a real shame, as i had alway`s used Emirates, as they was the best airline i had previously flown to destinations with!regards Caroline Gannon
