In 2008 a representative of NBAD named Mrs. Mariam Al Marzouqi has visited our college in order to sponsor students in the higher diploma financial stream
In return I was promised to be employed in the bank as soon as I graduate with a GPA higher than 3( in which i did 3.3). in June 2010 I graduated with a higher diploma in financial services and have contacted the bank and handed them all the necessary paper work in order to begin a bright future with the bank (or so I thought), 3 months later I get a call to schedule a interview with me, after the interview acceptance I was told by Mrs. Aseel that I will be soon joining the AFAQ program and that I cant carry on with my bachelor at the same time due to the lack of time so I dropped the bachelor program, after a long delay that lasted another 3 months I get a call from Mrs. Aseel informing me that it will be difficult for me to join the AFAQ program because I need the bachelor in order to join.
during the 6 months wasted with the bank I have received many job offers that I have refused because I was committed to the agreement that I signed with the bank unfortunately I wasn’t aware that such great opportunities will be wasted, so to make up for my lose I started looking for other jobs and yet have found nothing thanks to NBAD.
When I contacted Mrs. Mariam Al Marzouqi to inform here that I am no longer interested in being a part of NBAD she told me that I have to pay an amount of nearly a 100000dhs to repay the amount paid to me through the sponsorship period!!
I do not understand how such a huge bank can destroy a future of a fresh graduate and get away with it, if I have worked during the 6 months wasted by your bank I could have easily earned over a 150, 000 and have had a bachelor degree.
Yet there is more time to waste as I have yet not found a job thanks to your banks commitment
I refused plenty of offers!!
