I drove from RI to NH to empire automotive and before heading out there I called multiple times and even scheduled an appointment to a specific car I was looking to buy, that I had seen in there ad. When i got there another sales person was selling the vehicle and they told me if I wanted it that the price that I saw advertised wasn't the actual price and that the vehicle was selling for $3000 more then what they had advertised and that they are not responsible for typos. So basically I drove 2 hours to get scammed and wasted my time and gas. Once you walking in the door the car salesmen look at you like there the lion and your the prey. And as I walked out the door the car salesperson asked that we not file a complaint sounds to me that this happens a lot and hes just trying to cover his own butt. I would NEVERRRR recommend them to anyone if anything I would say buyer BEWARE!!

Empire Auto dealers (and owner) are not only dishonest, they will waste your time and gas money.
I as many others, were baited and switched there. I saw an internet add for a car that did not exist.
I called to make an appointment for a test drive. I spoke to Ken aka "Mario" and he said that an apointment was not needed. I told him that my bank was financing me and that i needed a statment of options on the car and the price. He said that I could come in for a test drive but he did not contact me back regarding the statemnt i needed.

The next day i drove an hour to Empire. When I got there, they said " The buyer took the car to go buy some other cars and so the car is not here" I was shocked" especially since I had made an appointment. The owener of the store came out becasue I was upset and they said that I could buy the car sight unseen. I said NOOOO.

I saw the Nissan I wanted to buy on his car list for $4, 000 MORE than I saw it on the internet and I questioned the salesman. He said" oh thats just retail, dont worry about it" Later that day they called me to tell me that they had the car back and that they were holding it for me.
I said "ok Ill be in tomarrow but I need that statement" When he sent me the statement, it was for $4, 000 more than the internet. When I asked him about that politly, he was RUDE, and insinuated that I was lying and or crazy. I then went onto the website and saw that they had upped the price !! Im sure that they went and changed it once they saw that i was about to buy the car! Im sure all that STALLING TACTIC helped them get that done!! I was outraged but not surprised becasue just a couple hours before I spoke to him, I google their name for the number and came upon this website so I had a heads up that this was LIKLEY TO HAPPEN!!
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, NO CREDIT/BAD CREDIT THERE ARE OTHER PLACES YOU CAN GO THAN THIS PLACE THAT WILL TRY TO SCREW YOU IN EVERY WAY YOU WILL LET THEM GET AWAY WITH
