I was disappointed with their estimate as their ads would lead you to believe they will save you big bucks. Apparently their gig is to cater to someone who wants immediate installation and no interest for a year. The salesman measure our house at 173 yards and single figure estimate of $6000, no details. Home Depot measured the same six rooms at 142 yards and with a better carpet (64.4 oz) quoted a total price of $3360 including all the same services as Empire, disposal, upgraded pad, etc. WOW!! That's quite a difference! For the impulse buyer who believed their ad, the quote might have been accepted without hesitation. One other interesting thing.....a couple days after their visit, measure and estimate......another installer called seemingly with inside information and promised they could get us better carpet at a cheaper price. Apparently, there is an insider or two who are using their leads to under sell them.
